Well I was being sarcastic to a degree. But to say Whiz 'destroyed" him is ridiculous. Did Whiz destroy Rothlesbergr? Did Whis destroy Charlie Batch when he came in and played lights out for Pitt last year? There is nothing wrong with this base offense other than we dont haven the QB's to run it imo.

Warner is a TO Machine and Leinert has proved that he, well...he hasn't proved anything at all. He had a medicore year last year and an awful year to start this year. Whiz had nothing to do with that.

Roethlisberger is having his statistically best year now that Whis is gone. Coincidence? maybe

I would say most of you are way over-reacting. Seriously, this team had a horrible game, I agree. Warner was a solid 10 - 30 passing. Edge barely broke double digits rushing. We had 2 weeks to prepare and didn't get the job done. Yes, people need to be held accountable to this, and people need to give answers as to why the team performed they way they did.
To say this team is a joke, and to say certain coaches suck, to say that Edge sucks when he is the 8th leading rusher in the league. To Say Fitz sucks when he's number 3 in rec. yards. To say the line sucks when the've given up less sacks then over 3/4 the teams in the league. To whine about how we should have drafted Peterson instead of Levi Brown.. Get over it. We didn't draft him and to whine about it isn't going to solve anything. Throw your temper tantrums, I've give you a passifier when your done, but as for me I'm going to stand behind Whiz and his staff. I see drastic improvement, from last year and from McGinnis Team. I'm a fan of the Arizona Cardinals! They are ONE! game out of first. This is an open forum and you can say what you want, so this is what I'm going to say. The Cardinals may not make the play-offs this year, but I'm ok with that because it's the staffs first year. Not a whole lot of people thought they'd make it this year anyways, I was one of them. But I do love this team, and I will support this team, and I will continue to support them and not bash them unmercifully.

Not so much speed on Tampa outside of Galloway, and they had at least a little creativity. Not much but a little.

Wow. Fire the coach, hire the coach. Then, as Duckjake would say, lather, rinse, repeat.

Whiz had a bad game. Hopefully he learns. I'm not saying that he IS a great coach but holy hell it's only 8 games into his tenure. Most coaches that take over pathetic teams don't set the world on fire right away. For every Sean Payton you have the great Bill Walsh (2-14 his first year, 6-10 his second).

Hey Bucs Beat us fair and square!

We couldn't tackle little and old Jeff Garcia to save our lives! We hit the little bastard at least 15 times but he wouldn't go down. He wore out the defense and then Graham tore us apart. I think that was their game plan and it worked!

NO reverses called, no misdirection.
ALL runs right up the gut.
NO imagination.
I'm not saying fire the guy, but where is some creativity?

Yep and Payton was a mirage just 4 games ago at 0-4 and now he's a genius again.

Whiz has some learning to do but I think people forget just how bad Mac was and how disconnected Green was. Injuries are killing us right now.

I do agree with those who don't like our current base offense though, it just hasn't worked all year.

Pretty much my attitude. I'm shocked that we've become a society so much based on instant gratification that we can't have the patience to see what a whole season can bring to a first time head coach. Don't forget he's learning on the job too. Have some faith and have some patience.

Also I'm waiting for the obligatory "I've been waiting for X years response". Yeah yeah, we all have. They won't get better just because we're old and have nothing better to do than wish they'd win more.

Classic!

yeah, that one was so weird. we looked like a legit football team. a good team. was a friggin' mirage.

You know what the difference was?

Matt Leinart.....oh and....

KURT WARNER IN SMALL DOSES!

I am going crazy witht he bashing of Leinart especialy at a time where KW has come full bloom to exactly what we thought he was. A two minute specialist with the inability to not throw the most critical turnovers known to man.

This is the rational everyone will fail to understand. Oh "Matt looked terrible" and "how would he have helped us win?"

Hey its not a coincidence that the running game, pass blocking and overall ability of the recivers abilities to catch the ball was COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT with matt at the helm. Of course the passing numbers were not what they should have been but there is SO much more that goes into being a QB than just chucking the ball down field. Thats just the most obvious.

Matt didn't look great that first four games. Infact against two tough as hell secondaries on the road he didn't look like much at all. But he is a second year player - Cutler has looked like crap and so has Vince (who is the perfect example of what I am talking about - his team has won even though his numbers have been worse than Leinarts - its cuz he manages the game) but he was 2-2. And warner is now something like 3 - 264 as starter of this team.

I think its hilarious that all those who have jumped ship (Shane, 82, AJ to name a few) will be the first ones kissing his a$$ when we finally start winning with him at the helm.

I would think the last couple games have proven how important it is to have a heady guy under center not GIVING the game away.

Matt isn't a world beater (yet) but he gave us a better chance to win than Warner. That I am now positive of.

I would be in this camp also. Warner has not been the answer, except to the following question: Who was an improvement over Josh McCown?

Warner isn't supposed to be the answer. He is paid to backup the answer. I dont know of another backup in the league who more is expected of.

They throw more last season too, but Jen was terrible. He always complained about Whis and his system, and now we see it not working so well here. I truly don't want to believe Fathead over Whis, though, so I too for now will go with coincidence.

Either Matt or Whiz is wrong based on their arguing on the sideline about the play calling. I got my money that Kurt is right.

Actually they were arguing over whose SuperBowl Ring was better.
