I like how he said "Antron Rolle".
He's a front-runner and admits it, so no harm done.

Only the best national sports radio personality out there! It's not even close!
He definitely is a very intriguing and sometimes entertaining national figure, but I think the best has to go to Jim Rome.

I disagree.Rome is a completely unbearable douche!
You're absolutely joking, right? Jime Rome? I've heard monks under a vow of silence say more in a minute than he often says in an hour. Here's an example:
"Wow.....*long pause*......yeah.....*long pause*.....because.......*long pause*......*says something obvious yet still obnoxious*.
The guy's a waste, IMO.
Rome is a completely unbearable douche!
I disagree but understand your point of view at the same time. Sometimes he comes off as a complete narcissist, but he makes some very valid points and keeps the audience engaged with humor and off the cuff remarks. Further, I like the fact that he filters out his callers and tries to only bring people who are hilarious, astute, or both.
Every once in a while he comes up with a good point or has a good interview. The rest of the time he's either talking about something completely useless to sports, taking a minute to say one sentence over and over (literally), mocking his own fans, or trashing this or that. His 50 minutes of chaff are not woth 10 minutes of wheat.
You just described sports talk radio. Good job.
Oh no I didn't, not at all. Rome takes what some talk radio guys do some of the time and basically does it all the time. I have literally heard him repeat the same three words for almost five minutes, not changing the dial because of the car-wreck syndrome.
Sorry but I wouldn't even put Roll that high...

Cowherd can have an extremely patronizing tone (esp. when telling people they don't understand because they don't work in sports or in the media), he cuts people off, and most of his dialogue with fans isn't dialogue at all because he's responding to emails and not always reading them in their entirety. None of it is that big a deal because it's sports radio and entertainment, but it does tend to drive fans crazy when they are in disagreement.
I usually can't deal with listening to Rome's show because of the things described above, but I do like a lot of his interviews--especially when they're with someone you wouldn't expect a nationally syndicated radio show to give 20 mins to. Some complain that he sucks up to all his guests, but I do enjoy the fact that he very much hands over the mic, which is a little surprising considering the way the rest of his show is run.

Totally agree.Cowherd >>>> Rome
Rome does very good interviews. The remainder of his show is Rome talking about Rome... That's what I can't stand.
They were bakers.I just wonder what Collin's family did for a living when they were handing out last names?
They came running and squealing out of Hot Topic, digging in their pockets for their cell phones.
They bounded down the walkway at the Avenues Mall, dodging people and jockeying for the best spot so they could catch a glimpse - and get a photo - of the guy in the gray coat.
After he walked by, the three girls compared cell phone pictures, hopped up and down for a moment, then raced back into Hot Topic.
Not hard to tell that Tim Tebow is back in town, is it?
The former Florida quarterback had his first official autograph signing on Saturday, at Palm Beach Autographs, but before he sat down at the tiny table in the store just outside the mall entrance to Sears, he took a quick walk through the mall. He slapped hands and thanked the fans who paid $160 for his signature, with a portion of those proceeds going toward his newly formed Tim Tebow Foundation.
Arguably the greatest college player of all time and people think he'll fall out of the top 2 rounds. Trying to make a little coin before he joins a team making about 1 mill a year isn't that big of a deal. The fact that he is putting any of the money into charity should be what we look at. It's his money. Nobody says anything when Beanie gets $20,000 for a 4 hour signing at local card shops. Did that money go to charity?"a portion" - what portion? If this guy is the "christian" he claims to be, shouldn't ALL of that $$$ go to his foundation?
Wait - "his" foundation - Is he the director? Is he paying himself?
He seems like a turd to me.
