Ketel Marte went from nothing to hero in a relatively short time. I am glad he is with the team. But to bat him in the power 5th spot behind Goldy and Lamb in the lineup on opening day is a stretch. He left 7 runners on base. That is extreme. I think it is asking him too much of him.

I know we have to be patient until Souza returns, but I would not like to see Marte burn out trying to be something he is not in the meantime, especially after signing the big contract.
