90 did tweet that karlos is coming back but it sounded like opinion. Hope he's right.

KD would be out of his mind not to accept that offer. I thought it'd be 3 years/10 mill and that he probably wouldn't play the last year. I think it's a bit of an overpay but it also depends on how it's structured.

That's right. If he gets $3M in 2014 and is scheduled for $7M in 2015, that deal makes no sense for Los. He might get more elsewhere.

If it's $7M today between salary and bonus and essentially a team option for $3M in 2015, he'd be stupid not to take it.

If the money is around $4M right now, it's probably a good deal for Los, but I wouldn't blame him for waiting a week and see what his agent hears when teams can start having discussions.

I'm sure his agent already knows what might be out there. So I'm also sure the Cards and Dansby have a good indication already as well.

If the offer is a legitimate 2-year offer where Karlos has a good shot at earning the money that is a more than fair offer for both sides IMO

The D. Jackson interest may be the Cardinals way of covering their bases.

Wouldn't D. Jackson be a replacement for Brinkley instead of insurance on Dansby?

Cardinals trying to keep Karlos Dansby

There’s no doubt,” Arians said. “We offered Karlos a contract the day after the season.”

The offer apparently wasn’t good enough for Dansby, along with any offers made since.

“We’re still in the negotiation process,” Arians said. “But, yeah, he’s a major priority because of what he brought to the table for us as a leader. We definitely would love to have him back.”

No. The Cardinals can't afford to sign D'Qwell and Karlos. It's one or the other. Cardinals are being pro-active seeing as Dansby and his agent have not agreed with the Cardinals' contract offer, said to be 2/$10M/$3.5 guaranteed. Basically the same contract London Fletcher got two years ago with the Redskins.

LOS had better not hold his cards too long. I'd be surprised if any team matches the Cards offer that was reported as 2/10 mil. Cards make their offer and if you don't take it, they are down the road with the next recruit.

LOS had success last year . . . but was it the system and how he was placed in position by the D-coordinator? Check out his few assists (one site had him with 8 for the year). The number or interceptions he whiffed on is as telling a stat as those he caught---it took the entire D and play calling to get him in the position to make the INT. If he really wants to go into the Cards Ring of Honor, he'll take the contract and finish his career here. If not, best of luck a second time. I'd like to see Miniter play at ILB---he's a thumper and will collect more than 8 assists.

I don't think he gives a crap about the Ring of Honor. He still believes he will be the only guy to make the HOF without getting a trip to the ProBowl. As for timing, Free Agency hasn't even started so I don't think he is feeling any pressure.

I doubt it. Dansby has been successful as a 4-3 OLB, a 3-4 ILB, and in a hybrid 4-3/3-4. Didn't matter what the DC wanted him to do he did it extremely well.

As for the assists # that stat has been brought into question recently. Tackle stats are goofy anyway. Do you really believe that Ron McKinnon and Pat Tillman combined for over 400 tackles in one season? Well that's what the Cards media guide says.

Plus it is irrelevant if it was the system because if it was... Dansby apparently is the perfect fit for it :)
