If the Browns or Titans want to pay Dansby over 5 or 6 mil per year for more than 2 years, they can have him. It is a step back but probably the right move. Sign Daryl Smith or one of a number of available ILBs OR use the money to sign a S and draft an ILB like Mosley or draft a guy like Shazier and move him inside. ILB is a position that provides several different solutions to fill.

Word is the Browns got rid of D-Qwell because they had already targeted Dansby. Hmmm...

Somers has tweeted that it sounds like the Browns are going to money whip Karlos

The #Browns have emerged as the team to beat for Karlos Dansby, per source. #Titans, #Cardinals feel they are out.

Browns?? Lol. Make your own bed, LOS.

At any rate, I wonder why Brinkley was cut. Now, we have D-Wash, Minter, and not much else. A position of strength is now an area of concern.

Can we put Lo$ in his own special ROH above a men's toilet in the stadium?

Cards were never going to money-whip Dansby. Keim set on controlling possible dead money on cap.

Agree completely.

And I can't blame LOS for taking the $$$.

He's a very good player and we've always known he is only about the money: winning is obviously secondary. Good as a business man, bad for fans. It's not a game for him; it's a living. #call Woodley

I also wont blame Karlos for taking more money

that being said:

I sometimes get the impression that Karlos is motivated by "headline" numbers as much as real ones -- that being able to make a big headline in Cleveland, with a big annual stated contract figure is important

i just hope he doesnt sign a deal that averages a big number ( lets say 4 years , $40 million) when in reality its a deal where he makes $13 in the first two years and then the Browns cut him.
