Hopefully Hill gets no interest, and returns to the Cards. He is an excellent Nickel CB.

Hill, and for some reason I feel hambrick

I want hambrick to return, he's a good backup

Shipp, Hambrick, and a good #1 via trade or draft pick would put us in a pretty good position provided the #1 rb plays like one.

In other words I feel Hambrick and shipp are good backups to have assuming shipp can come back.

Big backs like hambrick have the ability to find jobs, and he did pretty well for us last year.

I don't know what the technicality was that voided his contract, but I have a feeling someone will try and snatch him away from us. :(

Their extensions were voided by the NFL because there is a rule that says a player cannot redo/extend/whatever their contract for at least 1 year. They both had signed contracts sometime during the summer so by rule could not resign until at least a year later.

Oh, that makes sense. Thanks

(But for some reason I thought we trade for him and he had another year on his contract...unless that was the 2nd year of a 2 year deal?)

Oh well, thanx for the info.

Kvb

had a specialist look at him. A guy from NY that specializes in knees and the the type of damage and surgery KVB had. The Doc gave him a 100% clearance on both legs, which is normal, about a one year time span for full recovery. This will be one complete year for his second. At full speed with nothing holing him back and he doc's assurances, yea he'll get more than a bit of interest. I know he wants to stay here but the Cards may not give him an offer or they might let him test the waters. Could be a big mistake. Many was the play last year, being platooned, that he was inches from the sack. At full speed he will be hell on wheels.
