I was all ready to forgo the Season tickets this year and Mr. Green had to enter the picture. Now I'm worried we might actually get good and my season ticket priorty might suck when we enter the new stadium. So yes even though money is tight I cracked today and bought Season Tickets. Is there a good way to break that to your wife?

No more Section 11 though. I'm now a proud memeber of the Cheap Seats in Section 215!

Getting closer to 55,000 everyday. Keep up the good work folks.

Lets reward the players for their hard work. You know they are going to work hard or they will be gone.

Just don't tell her that you could have purchased your tickets at 2003 prices if you would have acted prior to March 1.

NO.

But try to say it real fast, and say I love you at the end.

IboughtseasonticketsIloveyou.

See if that works.

But you ARE a hardcore fan. Anyone risking life and limb (ala Skorp) to see the game is definately hardcore

Mike's (Madcardfan) wife is a sweet and wonderful person. But. And it's a definite caveat.

Both Mike and Carmel are engineers, and if I recall, she's veeery pregnant, so he must tread softly.

Engineers and/or pregnant wifes are peculiar creatures.

Actually that's kind of what I did.

She just looked at me and said "I'm not surprised"

I'm not sure if that was a good or bad response. ;)

I'll be up in the cheap seats with ya MadCard!
Actually I'm looking forward to getting a birds eye view of the field. Sitting in Section 11, I had a real hard time following the action down on the other side of the field. Especially when they got down to the goal line in the south end zone. I usually just ended up watching the jumbo tron when they got down there.

To top it off we got aisle seats so at least one of us won't have to worry about being squished up against someone sweaty.

Man, I hear ya. We need to ban that guy.
It is kind of sad, I've sat in that section for 7 years and liked it. However at twice the cost of my new seats I couldn't justify it anymore. Damn this whole responsiblity thing.

Hey, "MadCard"

Your "Not surprised" wifes' comment made me LOL. You're a BLESSED man!! In spite of your/our Cardinal "affliction", she loves you ANYWAY!! What a woman!! ...And I seem to recall marriage vows saying something about "for better or worse"?? Hmmmm?? I wonder if it's re-ferring To Cardinal football?? Hopefully, the worst is in the past, and NOW we're ready for the BEST!! GO CARDS!! P.S. You might consider buying her something "nice" or taking her out somewhere "nice". Kinduv' a "date" type-thing. ...And Women LUV anything NICE!! LOL I met a couple recently that set aside the 17th of every month to have a "date nite". The 17th is their anniversary date. A good way to keep the romance alive. They seemed very happy.
