D. Anderson's accuracy is really impressive.

Sorry bud, but some of the throws have been completely uncatchable. Cannot put this on Fitz. Its on DA...unequivocally

I never said DA has had a great game. Fitz hasn't played great, period.

Fitz should look in the mirror. He's played like crap.

Yeah, no. Not even remotely. Fitz knows the freaking offense cold...DA doesn't. When they aren't on the same page, it's DA that needs to turn to Fitz' page, not the other way around.

They'll work it out, but it isn't on Fitz.

He's 1-0 as the Cardinals QB. Heading into week 2, that's all I can ask for.

Sure...every mistake is on DA. Fitz is clearly not 100% out there, and dropped what should have been a TD pass. Whatever, we won, but both DA and Fitz need to get on the same page for this to be a successful year.

When did he drop a TD pass the one that DA threw beyond his reach that Fitz didn't even touch?

Larry did not have 1 "drop" today. Most of his targets the ball wasn't even within fingertip range, without a twisting half moon to get there.

DA had his good, and his bad. Pretty much what I expected. Got the win and that's all that matters.

It appeared to go right through his fingers. He's made that catch before. Like I said, Fitz just doesn't look like himself, which is understandable. Either way, who cares, we won.

Breaston, Larry, Doucet, and Williams better get used to diving for balls thrown 4 yards behind them.

Clearly Fitz and Anderson were not on the same page and need to practice together. It seemed that either Larry or Anderson were not on the same play. In the end Fitz got loose using his head and feet to catch the game winner from Anderson. Andersons numbers were good although he sure throws the ball hard. His hard throws probably prevented some interceptions as even the defenders could not hold on to them.

Looked sketchy against a bad team and we ESCAPED with a win. He had better get his accuracy a little better or we are screwed!

yeah... he had one of the worst 2nd-3rd quarters I've EVER seen in my life.

somewhat decent TD drive tho... bottom line, he's not very good.

Derek Anderson is like a sniper rifle with no scope. Yeah you can make them pay from long range, but can you come close to hitting your target?

There were plenty of times he had room to step into his throws and still missed badly. About 10 or more. Missed badly on a FB flat pass, threw it at his back foot. How can a FB out run your throw? Not a single person in his face.

He went 9 of 12 then went something like 1 of 10, then finished off the game a little better. They showed a graphic of it.

That is the sort of inconsistency you will see from this guy. Spurts of good play combined with spurts of bad play. Its why our D and run game needs to step up to get us through those bad spurts or get us to live another day until he reaches his good spurt.

His play shouldn't surprise anyone. This game was textbook Anderson, right?
