I don't think there will be any major coaching change in midstream.

I do think Mac realizes that he has to take the bull by the horns and be proactive about stuff that isn't working so well. I also think the players are piping up. So here's what I predict.

1. A changeover to a 3-4 on defense. (Hayes would play next to McKinnon inside in the 3-4). Defense would be hell-for-leather schemes. (The 4-6 also an outside possibility). Remember - both King and Bryant figure to be finally healthy, which would give Mac more flexibility to make the change.

An outside possibility that Fitzgerald is moved up to either replace Marmie or become his assistant DC.

2. Either Sully stepping down as OC or Marty Galbraith stepping up to replace Sully or be his assistant.

3. Kendall to LG. Garcia to C. Outside possibility that Spikes moves to RG and Leonard shifts over to RT.

4. Blake remains our starting QB at least through Week 10.

The comment about Bidwill firing everyone now because "he watches ESPN" does not, when you think about it, make very much sense, because the way those guys operate, they'll tar and feather Bidwill no matter what he does (If he doesn't make the change, he'll be called an idiot for permitting the situation to continue. If he were to make wholesale changes, he'd be ripped for "keeping the revolving door going" just as he has for the past 3 decades).

The smart thing for Mr. B to do would be to let Mac do whatever it takes to get the ship righted. (If Mac has been prevented from making certain moves, let him make them now). Then regroup after the season and, if a change is still merited, make it in some sort of organized, rational manner.

This one is unlikely didn't Hoener or Mac say just the other day that they think Kendall is a pro bowl C right now and don't want to move him?

I agree, I know I'm in the minority but I think C is VASTLY underrated. We all saw first hand the difference it made when Grutt got hurt we gave up more sacks the first 2 weeks he missed than we had the last 5-6 games with him. Guards are easier to find than C's so if you have a guard who can move to C like Kendall did, I'm all for it.

Just to clear the air about a comment I made at the end of the broadcast. What I said today was that I was told this past week "don't be surprised if some changes are made if the Cardinals lose." I wasn't informed whether they could be major or minor, nor was I told what they might involve. Most importantly, the words "don't be surprised" were used as opposed to "expect changes". In other words, let's not jump to conclusions. I speculated during the broadcast that it might involve a benching, a player released, or a player acquired, and that was all that I said. I am as frustrated as you guys about what's been going on the first six games. Let's just wait and see what, if anything, happens during the bye week. I feel for your guys, but hang in there.

Best,

Dave Pasch

Yes, I've read Mr. Pasch's response before Jim. I don't hold him or Nidan responsible for the Cardinals apparent lack of activity during this bye week. I was merely using this forum for venting some frustration over the fact that it seems that the Cardinals orginization is content to "stand pat" instead of trying some radical departures to there current "business model" in an attempt to salvage what's left of this pitiful season.

Now if you posted this to be helpful, please disregard the rest of this post.

If you're trying to be a smart-ass, read on.

Now before you ask me, allow me to pose the question.

"What would you do?"

Answer?

I don't know.

I'm not paid to know.

I just pay hard-earned money to watch them on the field every gameday in Tempe. Not to mention money I spend on merchandise and concessions.

Sorry if I feel a little entitled to spout off from time-to-time.
