True, but still, they shouldn't be watching strikes that are right down the middle. It's crazy how many I see them not swing at.

Also, Goldy is 2nd in the majors in pitches seen @ 1864 second only to Blackmon 1867. It is especially amazing considering that Goldy also leads the league in no-pitch intentional walks.

I didn't realize this was the same crew we had when St. Louis was in town and gave at least one game to the Cardinal The Homeplate umpire is the joke that expelled Mathis and Lovello. he needs to be banned from major league baseball or at least never allowed to umpire behind the plate for the Cardinals
