They said in the post game on the radio that Robbie Ray said Godley's start "got all the pitchers really fired up" and that he is super excited to get out there tomorrow.

Life is so strange.

Super excited about a start with no idea he's going to nearly get his head taken off and have to leave early.

Yeah I'm not even mad at our hitters.


Take Peralta for example, he had no excuse but to swing at that garbage ball 4 in the dirt, this jackass Ump has been calling that a strike all day.

Hermann, Goldy, Drury, they've ALL had multiple strikes called that were WAY out of the zone, I'm not talking on the corners, I'm talking way out.

WE NEED ROBOT UMPS. This is friggin ridiculous. The Dbacks have to play the opposing team and the Umps it seems.

Trust me, the guy behind the catcher is doing EVERYTHING in his power to keep us off the board.

This is why I HATE playing the Cardinals. Not only do you get pitcher favoritism, but Molina is everybody's favorite catcher so it's compounded. Kinda going against the Giants with MadBum and Posey up.

So absurd, the technology is already in place to get balls and strikes correct 99% of the time and make all this a non-issue but nah, I'd rather watch Umpires give favoritism to pitchers and catchers. That's way more fun. Really inspires me to believe in the integrity of the game.
