I had to leave. What was Ray's PC? Is that why they took him out?

That giant sign behind home plate that says; "HOT MEATY GOODNESS" is kindof making me uncomfortable.

I turned on the TV just in time to see the big inning. Four doubles, a triple and a HR in one inning. Wow. Even if the HR was one of the cheapest ever.

When you're hot, you're hot. And it's about time, we're hot. 11-2 in the bottom of the 8th.

With more batting help on the way. I hear that he really hits lefties. And has good power to RF like Goldy.

I don't follow baseball too closely but I have been reading the game day threads here for their entertainment value... Glad for you guys that the losing streak was broken in a big way.

Ban @Bert if you are serious about getting a wildcard.

Three things to know about this game

• Reds batters are a combined 25-for-112 (.223) against Greinke in his career. Zack Cozart has particularly struggled against the righty, amassing just one hit and striking out six times in 18 career at-bats.

• Greinke has thrown more than 46 percent of his pitches at the lower edge of the strike zone or below it this season, according to Statcast's detailed zone, and gotten a 20.3-percent swinging-strike rate on those pitches. Put those factors together, and Greinke leads the Majors with 170 swinging strikes on those low offerings.

• Scooter Gennett could return to the Reds' lineup after getting the day off Tuesday. He was among the few bright spots for Cincinnati in their recent series against Washington, as he drove in seven of the team's 12 runs over the four-game set.

Sweet! Was just going to ask if anyone knew if he was going to be in lineup tonight.

It's interesting they are putting Peralta back in LF and moving this guy to right.

Not that it really matters practically, I'm sure they will flip flop the remainder of the year.

Playing right away? I love it.
