http://m.mlb.com/news/article/20170...cks-set-to-face-castillo-reds/?game_pk=491523Entering Wednesday, Reds first baseman Joey Votto was 1-for-14 (.071) in the first five games after the All-Star break. However, he went 2-for-4 with a pair of walks in Wednesday's 11-inning win.
• When Walker faced the Reds on July 8, he allowed two home runs. It was the first time since Sept. 3, 2016, that he had given up multiple home runs in a game.
• It's only five starts, but while Castillo's four-seam fastball is yielding an .800 slugging percentage, his offspeed stuff (changeup/slider) has produced just an .091 mark. That's the lowest for any starter with at least 40 opponent at-bats ending on offspeed pitches this season.
