I consider myself an optimist but after 1 run in 6 innings I never saw us scoring 12. Just shows how a key hit here and there can change a game. Good win. (aren't they all).

Evidently Williams and Samardzija exchanged pleasantries at one point in last nights game. Samardzija must have started getting tense knowing his bullpen was coming.
