Funny thing though, outside of Byrnes they don't have anyone having a monster year.

Smoke and mirrors.

Byrnes is have a very nice year, but I wouldn't even call it 'monster'. .290 w/ 21 HRs is very nice....but not 'monster'. I'd say O-Dogg was maybe the only position player having a 'monster' year (especially if you include defense).

Okay fine, squabbler, i think i used that term because Byrnes' number far exceed my expectations.

Backs win. Never should have hoped for the Bucs win... Still one game lead. I am pleasantly surprised though. Jose just seems to bring too much drama.

Boo Hairston.

Great win by the DBacks. Looking good, but BWebb better pitch like BWebb on Saturday.

Hairston up for the Pads, down 3-2, bottom of the ninth, two on.

Crazy, crazy, crazy.... I'm telling you, we're going to have to win this, because the Padres sure as heck aren't going to lose it.

Great win tonight. If you killed Melvin for sticking with Pena the other night you have to give him credit for yanking Davis early. The bullpen put up zeros the rest of the way (4 1/3 innings worth) to allow Snyder to be tonight's hero.

We took the series, now we get another day of rest and then it's time to pay back the Dodgers.

GO ARIZONA! :D

are there actually people at the games yet, you know, considering it's the last ten games of the season and we're neck and neck in a race for... the best record in the NL?
