It looks terrible... It looks like it's being directed by the guy who did 300.

Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Overly serious and "atmospheric". Where the heck is the fun? The wonder?

Nolan took his batman series pretty serious also, but those movies were roller coaster rides!

I'm reserving judgement at this point, it's just too far out until release. But if this ends up being Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns" I'll be disappointed, insofar as I fell we've seen that vision in Nolan's Batman series already...and I'd rather not see Superman so government hitman.

I think it looks good. I cant wait to see. I know it wont all be dark, they just wanted to set the tone that hey, this is not your usual happy, campy Superman movie. Stuff is getting real.

I am super optimistic and I really think Affleck is going to put a solid performance out there as Batman/Bruce Wayne.. Either way i am super excited for this one!!!

I hope its good but I can't get my hopes up.

Hard to picture how Batman in his metal suit is supposed to threaten a guy who can take a skyscraper to the face without his hair getting messed up.

I get that people are not a fan of the camp of some of the old Superman films, but the guy is basically a god, for Superman and his over the top powers to function as entertainment I think he needs to be shown doing the impossible. He should inspire a sense of awe. I'm not sure how you do that if he is going to go dark and gritty and having to trade blows with another benevolent hero.

And this ignores that they're somehow tossing Aquaman and Wonderwoman into this movie. Needing to establish that many characters is usually pretty messy work.

I can't really tell with this trailer. Does it look interesting? OK. However, it didn't geek me out like the Star Wars trailer.

I think the only character that is going to have more than a minor role is Wonder Woman. Cyborg and Aquaman are going to have minor roles.

You know one thing I didn't realize in the first one is that Batman uses some sort of voice synthesizer in the armored bat-suit. I wonder if that is the overall approach they are going to take to avoid the "guttural" inflections that Nolan faced or any comparisons? Maybe they are going to do that in the regular suit as well but sound less robotic.

LOL

The watermark makes it look like he is sponsored. :D

Indeed.

Look like something he drew in Chasing Amy for Bluntman and the Chronic. UGGGG

No, it looks like it was inspired by Batman's replacement costume from Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns. Both Banky Edwards and Brodie would know this!

This looks amazing. I cant freaking wait!

I love the focus so far. Because from the word go Batman fears Superman. Not just like he is afraid of him. He fears what he can and might do to the world. He knows that people will love him and he could probably just make himself the God of earth of he wanted to. Sure we all know Superman is a great guy who would never do such a thing, but look at it from Batmans perspective. You've risked everything to protect Gotham and the rest of the world and now here comes this Alien, sitting in a prime position to do whatever he wants to the people of YOUR planet. Batmans position is that Superman will bring more aliens (even if accidentally like in 1) who will kill more innocent humans. As far as fighting crime, Batmans position is hey this isn't your fight. You're an alien. Batman is suspcious of Superman, and although we all know they wind up being allies, they aren't becoming BFF's anytime soon. It's going to be a really fun movie watching the chess match they will play. So much meat on the freaking bone when it comes to this storylines arc. I cant wait! I hope they do a great job.

Meh...I still have tempered expectations because of Snyder.

I have tempered expectations too not so much because of Snyder but because it just seems like a jumbled mess from all the plot details that leak out...if they can make the ton of character intros work within a coherent story I will be pleasantly surprised.
