In the 95.2 innings these three have pitched in June & July they have a combined ERA of 3.20. Mr Towers, I believe we've found that starting pitching you were looking for.

Keep in mind these numbers don't include our other youngster, one Mr Patrick Corbin and his 2.49 ERA

Agree, it would be crazy to trade any of these guys. We don't need another starting pitcher. Our problem is our bullpen stoppers Bell & Putz. Both are over the hill.

Out of those 3, Miley would be the one I'd consider trading. He is inconsistent, giving you a couple of gems and following with a stretch where he can't get hitters out. A great assessment was made by Brenly last night where he said the key for Miley is the first 4 innings. After the first 4 innings he is usually lights out and unhittable, well those first 4 innings are key anyways because 6 innings is a quality start, the first 4 innings are key for any SP. If we had to make a deal Kennedy, Miley and Cahill would be center pieces for a deal if I'm ARZ. Maybe Delgado in the absolutely right deal but all other pitching prospects need to be off the table.

I'd gladly deal Kennedy and Cahill, but I'd be hesitant to deal Miley. With his 3.33 ERA in 195 IP last year and his 3.59 ERA in 2012 & 2013 combined (303 IP) outside of an ugly June this season he's looked like a very solid #3, and at only 26 years old with a salary of 500k through 2014. If we can get that kind of quality performance out of a guy that's costing us a half a million for this year and next SIGN ME UP
