I wonder how much the Cardinals have interest in DeSean.. Back when he was in the Draft, I said he would be a good WR.. Its in a thread somewhere around here.. He would be the perfect mix to the Cards with Fitz..

And heres my logic on why we get him.. And this is my logic.. Dont judge me..

AZ teams always seem to get Philly standouts and I have predicted two of them the year before they happened..

Charles Barkley to the Suns

Curt Schilling to the Diamondbacks

And whats great about both of those things is they helped take the AZ team they went to either to the Championship Series/Game or won it..

So there it is.. I have been talking about DeSean all season that it would be great if the Cardinals got him, just like the other two in years past..

Cardinals in the SuperBowl..

I can think of another team in our division who might have interest in (another) punt returner.

DeSean is my prized offseason target.. Give the man his money and he wont be a problem..

Yes... Paying players eight-figure guarantees always solves attitude problems.

Randy Moss

At least 40% of DeSean Jackson's value is as a punt returner. We already have a couple of good ones on the roster. He's definitely more valueable to other teams than ours.

If you ask me, this is what Marcus Fitzgerald was talking about when he tweeted " big news" this offseason for Az.

Just my guess though.

No offense intended, but it's a dick move to ask for honest feedback on a football question and then reply like this when someone makes a football response.

Barkley and Schilling weren't picked up by the Cardinals. I don't think we're going to see a big-name splash at WR this offseason.

Not sure I asked for an honest opinion at all from anyone.. In fact I was just stating my weird way of predicting things in the past and hopes that it happened again.. Might wanna go reread what I wrote..

Agree, he is very popular in the Bay area having been a college star at Cal.

Sure.. But who would be the #1 receiver? He needs a true #1 to take pressure off him to do what he does.. Crabtree aint gonna do that.. He knows it too..

Its my quirky logic TJ.. Im fine with it only being mine.. haha

Unless they decide that they don't want Peterson to return punts, I think that Jackson's value is diminished in AZ.

I like the idea of improving the WR position and adding speed, but I don't see it right now.

Yeah I disagree with point 1 and totally agree with point 2. He's valuable to us as a WR, less as a PR since we have PP.

Jackson's attitude wasn't a problem until last year due to his contract. I predicted that before the season, after a lockout he's just not the type of kid who's going to be happy and play well when he wants a new deal.

But before that, yes cocky, yes he had some famous hotdog moves, but he was a VERY dangerous deep threat.

Even this year he nearly got 1000 yards, he's basically averaged 1000 yards and 5 TD's in 4 seasons, not HOF obviously, but pretty good, and doing that at 18 yards per catch.

But he'll want too much for us because of the punt return angle IMHO.

We'll be splashing with Manning, not Jackson.

Well the thing with DeSean is this.. We know he kept himself outta harms way during the season and he's healthy.. We dont know if Peyton is healthy.. ;)

Manning would just luv a guy who can't run routes.

In that order are my realistic favorites as targets for this team and would compliment Fitz well.

I'm not a fan of D-Jax and his antics. Plus, I'm not sure he wants to share the spotlight with another big receiver, especially one that is more dominant.

This doesn't even take into account his value as a punt returner, at which Patrick Peterson is doing just fine.
