In that order are my realistic favorites as targets for this team and would compliment Fitz well.

Isnt Stevie Johnson the Bills receiver that pulled a bunch of T.O. crap this season? If so, I dont see the Cards taking him.. Giants wont let Mario go after the Steve Smith fiasco.. And Robert Meacham.. I have no clue..

How is it that you see them taking Jackson, then? They've both acted like immature punks in the past 12 months.

DeSean just unhappy with his contract and trying not to get hurt.. Stevie just acting out for the hell of it..

So DeSean showing the defender the ball and fumbling it into the endzone his rookie season is, what, exactly?

Manning would just luv a guy who can't run routes.

Actually in college he was widely considered among the better route runners there were. His older brother played WR too and taught him at a young age, that, speed and quickness, were why he was constantly wide open at Cal.

I think with Philly it's a bit harder because playing with Vick you are CONSTANTLY ad libbing because he starts running around and then the Wr's have to break off their routes.

This year Jackson flat out dogged it, wasn't happy and it showed, but he actually does run good routes. Just won't go over teh middle.

I too think the Desean being a headcase thing is overblown. Is he a diva? Yes. Would Fitz, and Wiz be able to control him once he gets paid? I think yes. Hes also the perfect speed complement to Fitz.

But like someoen already said, 40% of why you pay Desean is for PR and he aint doing that here so I dont see it happening. SF does make a lot of sense though.

Ya not gonna read too much into that.. Once the Philly media/fans get unhappy with you they take things to a whole nother level..
So are you saying those things didn't happen? Because I think the Bidwills will likely look at those event as as factual.

...but, maybe you're right. The Cardinals are so good at taking care of their players in terms of extending contracts and managing holdouts that I doubt anything could possibly go wrong with having Jackson in the desert.

Jackson is a tremendous talent. I just don't think the Cardinals are the organization for him.

There are better receivers out there who will likely cost less than Deshawn and come without the headaches.

If the Cards decide they are willing to open up the coffers on a 2nd receiver he is probably the least appetizing option of the big names.

Because Whis and Fitz did such a good job harnessing the talents of DRC and getting rid of his knucklehead tendencies? No... they shipped him off to Philly for a handful of magic beans.

I originally wrote SF for DeSean, as well, but they have Ted Ginn, Jr. (I think he's still under contract). Hard to think of a good home for DeSean even with his PR abilities. Maybe St. Louis?

New England

JMHO

Interesting idea. They seem to look for possession targets on the outside and look to stretch the field with Gronkowski and Hernandez, though. Would he be happy getting 60 touches a season? Would New England want to pay $25 million guaranteed for that?

Would definitely help with special teams, though.

largely because of the punt return thing K9 mentioned. Jackson is a diva as said, but he was ready to play on Sunday his first 3 years, last year was the contract.

I would add even if the Cards don't want Jackson, if he comes to UFA, they should go after him if for no other reason than to drive up the price for San Francisco like they did to us with Warner. We can be Dave Hester on Storage Wars and bid them up.

The second that kick went through in the playoff game SF started planning how to upgrade at WR and the local media has already identified DeSean as one guy they'd likely go after if he hits FA.

Doesn't mean they will but I'd be pretty surprised if they passed on him because of Ted Ginn.
