I think my favorite scene here was LaGuerta and the old Police Chief talking where the police chief told LaGuerta that the guy who owned the cabin was the guy who murdered Dexter's Mom... and that Dexter's brother was a serial killer... and that Dexter was on the list of people who might be suspicious... and then STILL said he didn't think it was plausible that Dexter was the Bay Harbor butcher.

I mean... WHAT?

yeah... this show absolutely sucks now.

And what was up with Quinn's hair in this episode? And why does he even have a storyline? That guy is horrendous.

I was under the assumption that he has always known. (Being so close to Dexter's dad.)

I used to love this show but it has been going downhill fast.

The whole Deb/Dexter/Hanna thing is approaching Jump The Shark territory.

Think Im done after this season wraps. Show is all over the place, with all of the regular trappings and stereotypes and predictability. The only good character was the gay mobster...

wow... after that finale, I don't think I've ever seen a show where I want BOTH of the main characters to die like I do this in this show.

I will stay on board for next season. It was the only inevitable next step.

Dexter still lives by the code. Dokes, Laguerta, etc.... All not killed by him.

I think Angel doesn't retire now and goes full bore after them.

I am also glad Hanna will be back next year.

This show is definitely all over the place and much, much worse than the earlier seasons. Sadly it's still better than most of what else in on TV. And it's still entertaining enough if you're willing to shut off your brain.

Plus, next season being the final season makes it almost a requirement to watch. I've already made it this far.

yeah... thought the same thing. I think it was season 5, after Rita was killed, right?

and I'm with the other poster who said they've gone this far, so they'll ride out the string. This show really isn't very good anymore, but I am curious to see how they end it.

if it ends with Dexter killed and Deb taking on his role, it will be the most epic fail of any series I've ever invested my time in.

So accused killer Hannah McKay fakes a medical emergency and escapes from a local hospital and hours later the arresting officer and the rest of the department have not been notified or asked to create a task force to track her down? They are just living it up at Angel's party with no care in the world...uh, okay. I guess that the way things really work wouldn't have allowed for Dexter and Deb to be free to go to the docks. Ridiculous.

Season premiere was okay, dont like the way the debra storyline went. Its just another storyline that has to be wrapped up. This season should be tying up all the loose ends not starting new ones.

Debra is the new serial killer. She is trying to remove brain parts from her victims in order to give them to Dexter so that he will have some empathy!

If we didn't already know that this was the last season I would stop watching. It's so bad. Watching this and Breaking Bad on the same night just shows how awful it has become.
