Dexter has to be one of the most original series I have ever watched. Has anyone also watched the Tudors?

Never heard of it, but I don't get Showtime. I'm an HBO junkie. Only room for one pay channel in my non-existant budget.

Just started watching season one. This show is GREAT. As my wife termed it, it is "creepy good." Dexter is a great character, played to perfection. I love Deb, too.

I'm just guessing at this point (the Ice Truck Killer was just "caught" but he doesn't know who Dex is, so he isn't the right guy) and my thought is that the doctor is the ITK. I'm guessing that Deb will kiss him and tell Dex he tastes like menthol and it will unravel from there. Just guessing though.

I LOVE this show...totally hooked.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

ACK! We finished season 2 episode 8 about 1 am last night, which ends with
Dex threatening crazy Lyla, Doakes finding Dex's slides, the Miami PD finding the info about the car used in the killing being from their impound yard, and him leaving the dude who killed his mom chopped up out in the cabin.

And we can't watch another ep until Monday night. ACK!!! We seriously thought about watching another episode at that point...

This show is FAN-TASTIC.

Michael C Hall simply owns every aspect of this character...

You will get no sympathy from me my friend. I have season three in the chute and ready to go to be watched. But Over the next 3 weeks I will be home all of 2 days and have no time to watch it or start it. Makes me VERY

Just wait the whole Dokes stuff just gets better and better. Have you ever seen more of a drama Queen on TV or movies than Dex's sister? Sometimes I just wanna :mulli: at the screen.

Oh dude, I freaking LOVE Deb. She's awesome. Total drama queen, but also such a great character. Her rant on Lyla being a vampire sounded like something I've said before.

Bring on season 3!!

We pretty much knew what would happen in the finale of S2...telegraphed it all a bit too much.

Great, great show.

Finally its back, it was good enough to get rid of the bad taste that was the Cardinals performance.

Lithgow was made more creepy by the fact he was naked in almost all his scenes, lol :)

heh - that is very true

the season teaser at the end was reassuring in that it showed pictures of him with pants

I like how they took the cliffhanger from episode 1 and kind of changed it from what we thought it was going to be. It made sense for what happened to happen and it felt a lot more real.

We all know Dexter is fairly smart, he'd never chance something like that.

agreed

they set it up to think that this was going to play out over multiple episodes, but it ended up just having dexter be a little more cautious .... although having such a wide array of cutlery in a plastic bag could raise suspicions

will be interesting watching how trinity gets close to rita and therefore dexter - also the dynamic with lundy is great as well

The only thing I can say about the last episode is... "holy crap this is the best show on television."

No friggin' kidding...sort of wish I hadn't heard about the last episode even if it was just "vague" terms about the end...because I was waiting for it.

Anyways, great show, the episodes get better and better. Amazing how this show just doesn't seem to lose steam year after year, even when it's hard to imagine what other stories they can tell about a serial killer.
