I'm voting to get BC at the helm ASAP before it is too late. I mean, this guy is older than me so he must know something, right?
Funny, Native. I see that you were born four years after my wife, two young sons and I relocated to the Valley. It was a labor of love. Nevertheless, tenure means nothing when it comes to rooting for our home team.

I know one thing. That Lovullo has followed obsessive policies all season. Judging starting Pitchers' effectiveness by if they've pitched their allotted seven innings rather than what they're accomplishing ... or not accomplishing.

Or hardly ever putting his best starting-8 in games. Look where his constantly resting two or three starters has gotten us -- now playing our worst of the season. I got a kick when I saw that someone posted ('sorry for not remembering who it was), "Our lineups consist of Goldy and seven utility players." A bit of an exaggeration, but a lot of truth to it. The Manager has put them into that frame of mind. And continuing to use our weak hitting 3rd string Catcher in key pinch hitting situations despite his pathetic performance. Because he hits lefty.

Looking at the funk the D-backs are in right now as we head down the stretch, the results are the most accurate evaluation of the Manager's philosophies. At this juncture, they speak for themselves.

Good post. Plus why rest Lamb against right handed pitching. The team is better than we thought. Last year gave us that mind set. IMO they're better than they're playing now. I still see them getting a wildcard spot and that would be great.
