That means squat at present... Drury batted .285 in the first half. In the second half he's batting a whopping .207. Hitting .270+ in April, May and June is nice and all, but when your team is in the heat of a post-season run, if all you can manage is barely staying above the Mendoza line, it ain't good enough.
Plus, his antics at the plate drive me nuts - so he's gotta go!

I know, I know, he has not looked good for a while. I guess that's why they call it an average. He is a streak hitter but this streak is way too long.

I am missing all the games for a while as we went to Reno for a week to go to Hot August Nights and now staying in Tahoe for the next 30 days. I can't jinx them if I don't watch them, right?

I am so glad I don't have to watch these games for the next month. Everyone is playing great but if it weren't for Dreary we would be at least 20 games ahead of the Doyers. Sorry for you guys back home who have to watch this AAA team play, especially with that inept TL managing this team. I can see by your posts that most of you could do a much better job than he has and I agree. Seriously, 12 games over .500 is not even close to what we were all predicting (I was thinking at least 42 games over .500). He should have been fired last week. I'm voting to get BC at the helm ASAP before it is too late. I mean, this guy is older than me so he must know something, right? And 82 can take Dreary's place tomorrow. Don't let Bert take selfies at the park, cut off Dude's supply, make Dback Jon stay on the P&R and let Devil give his positive takes and we will be just fine. Going fishing tomorrow at Tahoe. Enjoy.

Everyones just frustrated AZ. We all fell in love with this team and now they are breaking our hearts, but I'm not giving up on them and I dont think most of the posters here really are either. It's just venting.

They continue to let easy, hitable fast balls just go by them then swing at the sliders and curve that are no where near the strike zone.
