Dam I think Goldi got all of that one. Grand slam would've been sweet! would've gone crazy if he hit that out. Ahhh Marte did something nice! I think the D backs must see something in him talent wise giving him all these at bats early in the season. I thought it was going to take him longer than this to get a hit.

Look every game there is going to be a bad call on balls and strikes for both teams. That doesn't excuse the other 3 balls, or the walk that followed, or the single after that. It wasn't even two outs then so at best a third strike means the team is down 2-0 instead of 3-0.

All to a team that actually I was being kind when I groused about them hitting .190. They were hitting .160 as a team at the start of this game. You don't ***** foot around the strike zone and give up free passes to teams struggling at the plate.

But even that wasn't that bad compared to him just letting Martin run on him without even looking at him.

All of this is nothing new. His ERA last year was 5.91 in the first inning. He consistently puts his team in the hole. This isn't a "He didn't get a call issue". This is "Why does a pitcher with dominant stuff at times just melt down at odd points in the game"

I already said I watched it. I even admitted the call was bad.

Look if you can't actually debate your point beyond "Did you even watch it" or "Haters going to hate", then by all means keep pretending that 1 bad strike with one out is the reason why Cahill isn't winning this game...or even still pitching in this game...or not burning up the bullpen in the first game of the series.
