Totally do. I have nothing but respect for those people that hang in there as fans when its obvious the season is only about traveling without any hope of arriving. That type of perseverance is nothing short of awesome. God bless those people. The ones that can hang in there are completely genuine in my book.

As a sidenote, that guy Posnanski is a terrific columnist. I used to love reading that guy when I used to live in KC.

Having known 1st-hand the pain & frustration of following a losing team that showed no signs of getting better year-after-year, I definitely "feel" for those fans. I was doubly pleased that Detroit beat the 'skins last Sunday. GREAT for the Lions' fans & the Redskins have cost me dearly over the years. (ie; 1984) Take that you miserable, arrogant, NOT-NICE Redskin fans!! GO CARDS!!

there is no end in sight for the Browns. I know a Browns fan who is usually very kool-aid drunk, but he is very sure the Browns will not win a game this year and have no plan for the future. its really sad....

My answer to that would be, How could you be a Cards fan and NOT emphathise with the Browns fans. The top caliber team they supported was taken from them and moved to another City. Then after undying support for the new team, they have to endure what Cards fans did AND still do, suffer the too many losses.

Living here in Ohio and being a Cardinals fan is like a double whammy. Cardinals are always #1 to me, but i do feel for all the browns fans...It's very depressing here.

I'm fairly new to the sport, but reading about the Browns is a sad story. In Aussie rules football there has been only TWO relocations in the history of the league. While they are lucky to retain their history, it seems like their team lost its soul.
