Lol. Give it two years and some ASFNers will actually believe that statement.Rams got lucky or we would have
Sadly if your not picking a player in the top 15 and sometimes even then, a team has to develop players.
The problem is that is not all if one watched how the team wore down at the end. This team needs depth to fill those holes too because injuries will occur. D-Hop, JJ Watt, Max Williams, Gardeck are all for the most part coming back from injuries. This team should at least be signing some quality depth right now and they are not. We do not need splash names as much as competent names, where a solid team at least gives us a chance... we have holes within our holes lolOh, is that all? lol Yeah, it seems a tough row to hoe. And filling all those positions will barely get us back to the status quo of last season. Last season's status quo wasn't good enough.
Weird. I don’t remember us winning two playoff games and playing in the NFC Championship game.
That’s probably more important than playoff success.I do remember us finished above them in the division
That’s probably more important than playoff success.
We should put up a playoff participant banner.
Lol. Okay bro.Well yeah. When it comes to our own division nothing matters more than we beat them twice and finished above them.
Lol, you're bragging on that to a team that one game away from the super bowl?Well yeah. When it comes to our own division nothing matters more than we beat them twice and finished above them.
Hmm. No mention of the injuries the 49ers had when we played them, but we sucked when Hopkins went down.Well yeah. When it comes to our own division nothing matters more than we beat them twice and finished above them.
Ummm we were injured all across the team as well and had our starting QB out. No really not an excuse for them. Nice try though.Hmm. No mention of the injuries the 49ers had when we played them, but we sucked when Hopkins went down.
I think Kyler is talented but not close to maximizing it. That said, he is easily a top 15 QB, and that should get you at least a playoff win if you are maximizing your edge. I have long said that I feel Kyler needs more help than a #1 overall QB should but that you have to give it to him. I don't believe I have been inconsistent with this.I have a hard time taking you serious when you say this. Especially with your outright open criticism of Kyler regularly during the season. I don’t have the sense that you actually believe he’s “the guy“ capable and ready to get us to a SB anyway. Even with higher quality talent.
Do you today think that Kyler can take this team to a SB and win it? Do you think after what you’ve seen with his epic collapse and complete panic he displays on the field that he’s literally THAT GUY? His stats and occasional spectacular play aside I agree probably top 15 sure. But is he a champion?I think Kyler is talented but not close to maximizing it. Nice try? Let’s stop all talk about injuries. You’re either good enough or not. You either have depth or you don’t.Ummm we were injured all across the team as well and had our starting QB out. No really not an excuse for them. Nice try though.
And who the Cardinals missing that day? Do tell…Nice try? Let’s stop all talk about injuries. You’re either good enough or not. You either have depth or you don’t.
If I recall correctly the 49ers were missing Debo and Kittle. I could be wrong.
I think that is what most of us are trying to figure out. He isn't a champion now, obviously. The collapses can't be ignored. But I also don't think the organization is built to succeed nearly as much as it needs to be. Murray ain't Brady by any stretch, but the second tier coaches and revolving door roster certainly aren't helping matters.Do you today think that Kyler can take this team to a SB and win it? You tell me. I get tired of hearing “ we lost Hopkins” and that was it. It wasn’t like we were playing with 10 players. It was colossal failure from the coaching staff to tge 53rd man on the roster. And who the Cardinals missing that day? Do tell…
I’m pretty sure this team was without Kyler, Hopkins, Hudson, Watt and was rotating their players on the OL. Yet still went on the road and beat SF by two TDs. I’m pretty sure those losses trump Deebo and Kittle but that’s just me.You tell me. I get tired of hearing “ we lost Hopkins” and that was it. It wasn’t like we were playing with 10 players. Btw, who made it to the NFC Championship in spite of injuries?
Not yet.Do you today think that Kyler can take this team to a SB and win it? That’s fairNot yet.
But Champions are made. Not born.
Matt Stafford wasn't a champion. Didn't win in the playoffs. Until he did.
Peyton Manning...quite possibly the most complete quarterback of all time choked in the playoffs. Until he didn't.
I believe kyler Murray is a competitor and if he has any self awareness or strength of character at all he is embarrassed by his performance in the playoffs.
For any competitor the greatest challenge they face is the man in the mirror. They either lose to him, defeat him, or make peace with him.
For Kyler, imo he needs to accept that while the people in his camp have done a great job in getting him to this point,... in order to advance as a player he has to thank them and move on.
Maybe that’s a European sports perspective?Lol. Okay bro.
I have my doubts, but I still believe with the right mentor/tutor/coach and supporting cast he could become a championship QB. Right now, with his mentality? No.Do you today think that Kyler can take this team to a SB and win it? Name a top viewed Young QB having success w less help.. certainly not any of these guys;I think Kyler is talented but not close to maximizing it.
