Let the rumors begin. Who's got the fly on the wall camera set up in Keims office. Seriously I'm glad they have him in for a visit. One of my top five picks for us.

I'm not concerned much about his size, I'm not concerned much about the shoulder. I'm not even all that concerned about the hospital incident. The one thing that bugs me is the stuff about him admitting he struggles to diagram plays because he implied he had a learning disability and it's difficult for him to do x's and o's. Generally speaking that's something you want an ILB to be able to do. It didn't seem to impact him in college but NFL offenses and defenses are a whole other animal so I do have some concerns is he going to be able to grasp it?

Patrick Peterson had one of the lower wonderlic by a player in his draft class, didnt affect him turning Pro
Btw is important admitting an own weakness, so he can try to overcome that issue

The cards can bring him along slowly behind Dansby to help with the learning curve if the cards decide to use the 13 pick on him.

I would not say he is a Hall of Famer but Foster is definitely Pro-Bowl potential... he would be my number one removed from Hooker and a QB on the Cardinal's board

Never say never but I can't see anyway Hooker falls to us. That draft card would be in Roger's hand in record time.

Like I said, Hooker would be number one on my board but where we pick in the draft is a different story, but would be so sweet. This draft is going to be fun because some weird stuff is going to go down... you watch when we have Lattimore at thirteen lol

Playing cover corner totally different than ILB. PP usually has one job the whole game

A very valid point, but linebacker is one of the few positions that if you have the ability it can overcome intelligence. I will never forget Daryl "The Waste" Washington saying that he does not diagnose players, he just reacts. Thus Washington was so quick, so fast, and so gifted his abilities made up for his lack of analyzation.

Foster is a flippin' beast, and his instincts are through the roof. I would not worry about his mental capacity, by the time he slows down one would hope he will pick up a thing or two.

Foster would be a great pickup for the Cardinals. I would only select Mailk Hooker over Foster if both were available.

He was physically talented. But he couldn't overcome his overarching stupidity.

In life ? Yes.

On the field, I beg to differ, Washington's ability definitely gave him the edge that made him the player he was. That is why now at 30 years old, slower, older, and still dumb as a box of rocks, he is pretty much worthless to the NFL.

I would have never thought he was an option for us at 13, but he is. Another very good option at 13.

It doesn't affect Peterson because he simply lines up on the opponents best receiver and his instruction set is "Don't let your guy catch the ball." Thats it, just lets his incredible athletic talent shine.

Not the same with a middle or inside linebacker.

I heard Mike Mayock interviewed on local radio yesterday and he said Foster is, in his opinion, the best ILB to enter the league since Luke Kuechly.

Mayock also said the Cards won't be able to draft Foster at #13 as he thinks Foster is still a top ten guy.

He's a LB. Like Chris Spielman says, see ball, get ball.

Man, I feel like that's total hyperbole.

Ray Lewis - 6-1, 240 4.53/40
Patrick Willis - 6-1, 240 4.51/40
Luke Keuchly - 6-3, 242 4.58/40
Daryl Washington - 6-2, 230 4.58/40
Reuben Foster - 6-0, 230 4.65/40

Just strikes me as too small and too slow.
