It would help if DRC didn't have to cover for eight seconds on every play.

I listened to the first half on radio and I was going to say the same thing based on what Pasch and Wolfley said. Way too much time for Ryan, said the DB's were doing well considering how long he had to throw the ball and how effective the run game was.

I guess somebody forgot to tell "Dollars" Dockett there was a game today.

Russ you really shouldn't comment bases on radio broadcasts. DRC's problems weren't just because of lack of qb pressure.

Give it a freaking rest. Roddy White had 7 catches, 78 yards, a TD, with his only big play coming an inch away from a DRC pick. That's a whopping 11 ypc. That does not warrant melt-down mode and calling him DeAngelo Hall or Antonio Cromartie. The kid is going to be fine. I remember you all crapping yourselves at the start of last season and he went to the pro bowl.

It starts with the pass rush, something we didn't have.

The secondary was not good but we got rolled because Atlanta dominated the LOS. We were blown off the ball and Ryan had all day to throw.

Ummm he wasn't only havin white catching balls on him. Scrubs like finneran were too. Way to disregard his two PI calls as well that were blatant. Lucky for us the falcons almost stopped throwing in the whole 4th qtr.

We should probably get rid of DRC. That would continue the trend of letting our best defensive players walk away for nothing. He is absolutely one of the best CB's in the game. The 2 PI's were very questionable, especially the 1st one. Maybe was should bring Mel Blount or another old Steeler to waste another roster spot like Porter, haggans and Faneca are doing. Ryan had all day, and i mean ALL DAY , to throw.

To be fair, it's not like Pasch and Wolfley are 2 guys off the street that
lucked into their jobs. In other words if they said Ryan had a lot of time to throw I would tend to believe it was true.

There isn't a CB in the NFL that can be a shutdown CB if the QB has too much time to throw the ball. Wolfley in particular is a pretty straight shooter, kept talking about the lack of intensity on defense. He said after the KO return by Hyphen got called back it sucked the life out of the team. The first drive was a punch in the mouth, but that KO return was the biggest play because just wehn it looked like we were going to answer, the penalty took it back.

DRC isn't perfect but he's far from the biggest problem on this team or on the defense. When you give up over 100 yards to 2 different RB's, I
think your problems are more with the front 7?

Those pi's were not questionable. Especially the 1st where he was all over Whites back before the ball got there.

Nobodys advocating getting rid of him. But he IS NOT a shutdown CB.

geez d=line has to get some pressure for any cornerback to play up to his potential anyone who thinks drc isn't top ten in the nfl hasn't been paying attention
Not today, he wasn't top 100. He has those days, typically 4-5 times a year. Your not paying attention.

Those two DPIs were horse **** calls and the only notable catch that Finneran had was the TD against Greg Toler. Go take a nap.

Did you even watch this game today? There was no push from the Dline, no pass rush to speak of and there run to set up the pass was Washington Hog esque. Ryan had all day to throw. DRC didn't have a great game but he was far from the worse guy out there. Your just being arguementitive after a beatdown. I agree go take a nap.

He flat out sucked today. Lack of pass rush helps absolutely I agree. But it wasn't all because of pass rush today. He can and has been good. Today wasn't one of them. All I'm saying is that he should not be talked about as a "shutdown cb" he just isn't.

Totally agree. The first call was crap and the second he did grab the guy when the ball was not catchable. Both plays Ryan had good protection.

That is total BS. Billick never said t it was PI. After the replay he said he came over the top of the receiver but he never said it was PI. He questioned the call.

Your right he never sai PI. He said he came over his back before the ball got there. Which was clear as day BTW.

He said clearly he doesn't know about that call. Amazing that you watched this game and what you come up with is DRC had a bad game. He is the least of our problems.

Oh I came up witha lot more than that. :)

So your saying he played well today? Do you believe he is a shutdown CB?
