Looked a hell of a lot better last night. Once we have him and Okafor, we should me sitting medium decent in the pass rush department.

Throw Golden into the rotation and I agree with you.

With Freeney and Okafor on the outside, I feel better about OLB than I do about our inside group.

Great call, you really had Freeney's number. We should have cut his worthless butt after his first game!!!:mulli:

It's about time he did something he's been a ghost for awhile... But that play alone warranted his signing

He has had 3 HUGE sacks. 2 that affected the outcome of games and 1 that won the game.

I was definitely being petty with the bump after the fact, thats why I deleted my post, but since we're talkin about it now:

Point is, the guy has done EXACTLY what most reasonable fans expected from him, and I'm assuming exactly what management expected from him.

Only plays in spot situations. Has one job, sack the QB. Gets several in key situations.

He was not ever expected to get 10-15 sacks IMO. You bring a veteran guy to do precisely what Freeney has done this season. Would it be nice if he did it more? Sure but we didn't sign 2004 Dwight Freeney, we signed 2015 Dwight Freeney and that dude just won the game. :)

It was beyond unreasonable to complain about him after 1 game.

I'd say his 4 sacks in limited plays says he's All-Pro on this D that lacks really any threat outside of the blitz:p

his contract apparently paid him a $200K bonus for his 4th sack - the bridgewater sack was his 4th :) he also gets $100K for every additional sack he gets now :)

Bump! Looks like he is finally in game shape.

7 Sacks and 3 FF in 10 games.

Freeney has been a great pickup. Let's not fool ourselves. Forget his sacks, which have already paid for themselves, but he's created pressures every game.

Keim is awesome, he churns this roster every NFL week. Every single week. He finds someone who can make a difference when a player goes down or when we're lacking. I love Keim. Think about Graves for a second, there was no churning of the roster, especially on the PS, or in backups, ever. Year after year. Keim is always creating competition and bringing in players to compete for spots and then playing them when needed.

(Edit: And just look at the vet leadership he brings in to teach our youngsters. My gosh. He brings in captains, former all pro's, people who can make a difference)

THIS. SO. MUCH.THIS.

The younger generation of Cardinals fans has no idea how good they have it with Keim and Arians. What a joy to watch these men do what they do best. After so many decades of sheer ineptitude, we now have the best GM/Coach duo in the League....and special kudos to Michael Bidwill for making two great hires and then getting out of the way!

This dude is getting better and better as the season goes on. Was thrilled when we signed him. I was really excited about what he could do, hoping he could be a guy who could get maybe like 5 sacks tops. That would have been great, lol if you told me he was going to do this with almost all of them coming in HUGE moments of big games? Freeney smells that ring, it's why he is here and he is beasting..

And DJ Swearinger caused a fumble today... it really is amazing the guys we have been able to pick up this year that are contributing :)
