God speed to EJ on his recovery. That did not look good at all.
I am not sure what the better one to mess up would be. I do know that my son snapped his femur last year and was lucky enough to be treated by the best pediatric orthopedist in the world. The Doc said that his age (3 at the time) was his saving grace. Had it been me he said, I would not have been walking again for 18 months. Kids are amazing though, and my little warrior was running again in a month.
Either which way was it's not good for EJ. Think Joe Theisman or former Clippers' point guard Sean(I think that was his first name) Livingston.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if Henderson's career isn't already over, he definitely will not play for a minimum of 2-3 years. They will have to put rods in there and he likely wont walk for 12-18 months.
It depends entirely on how many complicating factors there are. Not all breaks are the same. Charlie Davies had a complete fracture of the femur in his car accident, and they're saying 6-12 months for him.
They are saying 6-12 months for the bone to heal, but then extensive rehab after. "Extensive rehab" normally means about 6-12 months. When you break a femur, you almost always tear the hell out of your muscle. Even if by some strange feet you didn't the muscle will atrophy from lack of use. Don't expect to see him practicing or playing for 2 years, if ever. The people that think there is a chance he plays in the cup are just misinformed or delusional.
It's great that we have one of Davies's attending physicians here on the board.
Why didn't an air cast get applied on the field???
I wondered that all night. Some dude just kept his leg stable as they drove back.
karma
he'll be able to walk and should recover fully - if he does get to play again maybe he'll think before rolling people knees and all of this fun off the field stuff
nasty to be sure, but i'm very indifferent
this vikings team has a whole bucket full of this stuff due to them - very unlikeable team full of bad juju
Good thing is he's not a Cards fan, so we don't have to worry about him bringing bad juju to our team!you're a very sick individual

That just made my stomach turn...Looks pretty bad...
Well, he IS a Seahawk fan, but in spite of that he IS also a class act. He's also an ASFNer, so he'll be stood up for here by most all.you Osprey are the most ignorant POS I have ever had the displeasure. You must be a seahawk fan
