McNabb would be a poor fit for this offense and Kolb is Sage Rosenfels pt. 2.

I am ready for the Matty Lite era to begin. As Pariah said,I suggest all of you naysayers do your best to prepare for it as well because Leinart will be the starter come 2010.

First, please remember this is a thread about McNabb becoming a Cardinal. I think Joe, and others on this thread, are soured on McNabb not so much because of his abilities, but because it would cost multiple pick (2+) first rounders and probably a player or two to get McNabb from Philly. He isn't bringing THAT much value to a new team.

Why not Boldin straight up for McNabb??

1) Boldin's value is nowhere near that high

2) Philly seems sold on their WRs. They don't think its a need

I'm still going with my prediction that Boldin is going to the Ravens - they desperately need help at WR. Leinart will be the starter next year.

About your first bolded statement: Even Kurt didn't do it crisply this year. We had a HUGE drop off in deep passes this year. Something was just off.

About your second bolded statement: It's a timing offense. It takes any QB practice. Even McNabb couldn't come in here and hit our recievers in timing plays like Kurt did.

I keep hearing that because the Cardinals passing attack was a "timing offense" that's why Leinart didn't do so well.

Someone help me out.. If a passing game is based on something other than "timing" what is it?

And give me an example of a team that has little or no use of this newfangled and very complex "timing" thing as it relates to their passing game.

wouldn't you agree that it's pretty hard to get your timing down with the WR's when you're getting about 5% of the reps with them as compared to 95% ? Or does that apply to every QB except Leinart?

That's not my question, I don't dispute that more reps can be helpful for the timing between QB and receivers.
