By my count, we've got 9 non-Peterson corners on our 80-man roster.

I can't help but think SK knows something about some of these guys to lead him to believe that we'd be better off not overpaying in the FA market (i.e. this may be the reason for his lack of aggressivenes in persuing FA CB's).

I'm betting I could find you or many others saying the exact same thing last year. That worked out well for us...

I have noticed most teams like their default players that play special teams and are fillers. For years the Chargers loaded up on TEs as their extra players. Then when we switched to the 3-4 defense, they have loaded up on LBers. Seems like the Cards like speedier DBs as their filler players.

we have 63 players in thw roster right now

Some of them will be cut before camp starts

Adding 7 players from draft plus 12/15 undrafted

I expect keim will.add 5/6 veterans

who is out of there worth a spot?

Dont know what the issue with Tj McDonald cause to me he was one of the top free agents

I'm curious about TJ McDonald as well. I've always been high on him. Thinking I remember him getting in some trouble though.

Check the number of our corners who wound up on IR a year ago. Although it's emotionally easier to "expect the worst", I'm not sure we should assume that last year's strategy will result in a similar run of luck this year.

Teo is under rated, but he has a hard time staying on the field, which is probably why the bolts let him go. He started off slow, but was rounding into a solid LBer. Not spectacular, but a good tackler and decent cover LBer.

Plus his 'girlfriend' previously moved to New Orleans.

Didn't the Cards make a run for Hall recently in free agency

WTF? Do they just switch buildings between these two teams?
Just speculating - but players who play for a team in a metro area often raise their families there. Stands to reason that, if they're considering a change in teams, they'd give another team in the same or nearby metro area "most favorite nation" status - so they don't have to uproot their families.

Not all the time or most of the time but enough to make it look like the 2 teams have shuttle service into each others' locker room.

I know Jeff, it's just these two teams seem like they only look at who's available from the other team, LOL.

Yes, but may I ask u why we have to rely on others journalists , instead locals to have some news about cardinals
There are some journalist in twitter from baltimore, houston adam caplan Wilson ecc ecc able to give us some news in advance about cardinals in terms of visits signings contracts ...
Some like journalist there doesnt care or are not pushed

Don't be too hard on these guys. The Cards aren't one of those teams that like to distribute misinformation. At this stage there are few players they have an interest in chasing. No news may be better than much of the ridiculous stuff published elsewhere, which has no more basis in reality than all those silly proposed trades you see published at the trade deadline.
