We ran the ball a fair amount and threw the ball deep so nope it is no KK's offense
Played more under center (I've broken down those stats previously) and ran out of that formation....under KK the vast majority of runs were from shotgun. Also, getting Conner runs off tackle, with success. Murray looking deep, 1st, then checking down (totally different than KK)...Not relying on WR or RB bubble screens to loosen the defense. Lots and lots of differences than Kliff. Also, how many times did they go empty backfield with 4-5 WRs? I only saw it once, but could have missed a couple others...Under Kliff, that was like a top 3 formation.

McBride is now the man, Ertz is gonzo. Nice game by Murray overall
They waited too long to get mcbride going. But I’m glad to see them finally unleashing him with the choice routes. He actually had his man beat on that last play where kyler under threw him. A good throw and it’s a TD.

Good news - with today's victory everyone will be spared my hot takes regarding Froholdt - so you can thank Kyler Murray for that

Yeah they almost had to evacuate the stadium because of his nuclear meltdown on the 2nd drive, but he did settle in after that BGT. Can I call you BGT? Is that cool?

I don't think the team was holding McBride back. I think McBride's confidence is the only thing that's been holding him back.

It was totally the team. Look at the number of targets per game Ertz got compared to McBride up to the time he got hurt.
In his limited opportunities though, McBride was dropping passes not being aggressive after the catch, maybe in his own mind he didn't feel like he was better than Ertz... At least the light has seemed to go on now and I hope he's able to keep it going..

So much for the #1 draft pick. That's OK since Cards' management would just mess it up anyway. The tank is over.
I think Monti would have traded down from #1 anyway. Who knows where we would have actually ended up drafting.
