I can't open the link but, I don't expect a season. I never did. It took baseball a loong time to come back from this, and it is a beloved American icon of a sport.I don't think hockey will ever fully recover from this.

Less than two weeks. The NHL wasn't going to last long unless they did something about salaries and costs. They didn't have much of a choice.

Gretzky said if it doesn't get resolved then he thinks the lock out could last all of next year too. I couldn't imagine what the fan base of this sport would be like if they missed two years.

Rather than lose another year ownership should just start over and field replacement players....young, hungry ones. Oh, and get rid of the instigator rule, that should fill the seats.

I'm sorry to say every year I become less of a hockey fan.

They might have to use replacements. There have already been whispers of moving all of the AHL minor league teams into their NHL affiliates' arenas next year.
