So is Season 2 worth watching? I've intentionally not watched a single minute of the show this season, seeing as how bad Season 1 was.

I am enjoying it a whole lot more than season one. IMO it is good now. There have been a few cop outs and etc but I dont hate it near as much as everyone else does. I finally care about several characters and more.

dont expect TWD yet and episode one was OKAY but IMO episode 2 and beyond were good, entertaining and at least fun to watch. I think it is leaps and bounds better than season one.

As for this episode
I enjoyed it, the only thing I was bummed about was that the final exchange was way too easy. I was expecting them to save it for next episode and be a big battle. I was happy to see Daniel in the room with the kid ready to torture him, made me smile. Chris will die soon, the kid is overly emotional and a loose cannon. Who knows though, maybe he is just being set up where you hit a major low, then get stupid and crazy but slowly come back to a middle ground, we have seen it happen before. They have now killed people in 3-4 episodes straight without losing anyone,m I think that changes very soon.

The scenes with the Asian girl were good, they left without her again though, what are the odds for another "chance encounter" she is a good actress and deserves to get into the show but you cant have chance encounters happen over and over. Maybe she will show up on a boat at the beginning of the next episode and finally join the crew. I thought she was going to be a villain for a minute there. That group as a whole was interesting between their base, the murderous brother and etc.

The boat has really turned into a great thing IMO. I thought I would hate the boat but being able to hit different locations and find different groups over and over has made the show much better. They needed some major conflict and have delivered lately.

looking forward to the next one. I like Strands buddy too. I imagine MExico wont go well, if it is too easy the show will lose steam and travis will demand chris goes back to playing video games and taking out the trash.

I also likes how the brother stopped making chomping noises just as they rolled up.

How convenient. I wonder if some of the scenes were written days apart or by multiple people? I mean they made it a point to show Madison stuffing a gun down the back of her pants only to completely forget about it come the exchange. Then the bag over Travis's head thing seemed like maybe they filmed that directly after the scene when they first took them or something.

The scenes seem completely disjointed.

that was definitely a weird chekov's gun moment.

The whole payment to get into Mexico seems even more stupid after this episode. LOL

Even though this was one of the more watchable episodes....

This would have made sense if they were blockading the island right off the docks. However, this is the equivalent of me standing on the border between Arizona and Mexico demanding everyone that crosses pay me a fee. How stupid is that?

Even though this was one of the more watchable episodes they are rehashing the "zombies are really alive" story line again. People storing zombies....again.

Also, am I the only one so annoyed with Chris and find his threat completely laughable? Can we just throw him in the cell with the other zombies and move on?

Last but not least...way to waste Dougray Scott's character. They set him up to be this character that could be interesting and just throw all that away by killing him.

Next episode should be chaos between both dealing with Chris and Thomas's mom.

They could kill off the entire cast and move on and I don't think most of us would care.

There is no attachment to any of these characters like in the original series, it is like a cast full of that family from Alexandria with the whiney kid and the weird older brother. I just keep rooting against these yahoos--I want them to get zombie-swarmed.

I this point I am a fan of junkie depp, his sister and daniel. Travis and madison have their moments where I like them and their moments where they drive me nuts. I still like Strand too. I liked Cecelias son, too bad he is gone already.

Puppy slide into the Recycle Bin of lame TWD storylines. This show gets funnier every week.

Honestly, they just need to fire most of the writing staff at this point and start over. Each week adds to the ridiculous list. It's a waste of the cast, a waste of the franchise at this point. The show has been bleeding viewers in season 2.

You want to shock the audience and get some of those people back? Start killing off some of the main cast. Then by seasons end you can start with fresh characters and some new writers. This show has practically not delivered on anything it said it would be.

It's become a "B" version of "a day in the life of <insert generic family here>".

the cast really isn't that great.... I like junkie depp...dude has some acting chops and the concept of tossing a junkie into the middle of the zombie apocalypse was a great idea.... they never really explored it enough to do it justice though.

the sister was horrible initially but after disappearing for a few episodes she seems to have come into a rational state of mind and could be a good character.... Travis has a little potential..... junkie depps momma though?? She really needs to either get her face eaten off,...or run into Carol on a bad day.... Reuben Blades' character had great potential... but the writing is failing the character as well as it does not appear that blades is fully invested in the chow.

Chris needs to fall off of a dumpster and get eaten just like he did when he was with glenn in Atlanta.

It's too late. Everyone wanted to see the beginning of how this zombie infection all came about. Instead we got stuck watching a moronic family of uninteresting people. Now they are just rehashing TWD themes that we have already seen before. FTWD has been an epic failure and at this point is just a joke.

So no one is looking forward to finding out what happens with Chris after considering murdering his family?

Or how cecelia will react knowing someone shot her soon to be zombie son and didnt let him turn? I imagine she is not going to go the Herschel route.

:)

Can't we just go back and watch old episodes of TWD to see how this plays out? We have already seen people keeping the dead. We have already seen people arguing they are not dead. We have already seen people within a groups of survivors loosing it and threatening the others.

It's not like we would miss much.

You could simply not watch this show

I'm looking forward to it.

The good dinosaur was basically the land before time #45 but I still enjoyed it.

:raccoon:

I'm hoping Chris gets clipped and Cecelia has an episode that causes everyone to get the hell out of this compound. If shes straight murdering everyone so they can all be zombies its time to move on. At least herschel wasn't accelerating the apocalypse.

Ugh. Travis's feet torn apart...But he can catch a fast teenager who had twenty feet on him. How did his feet get that way in the first place?

Dad and daughter trying to escapie in the middle of the day in front of everyone. Ugh.

Chris and Travis wanting to leave the group. Ugh.

Celia leaving the keys in the lock. Ugh.

Old man setting house on fire and it immediately engulfs. Ugh.

Nick running around with guts all over and is in love with Celia. Ugh.

I am so rooting for this show, but now I just watch it to see if it can be as bad as I think it will be. It supersedes with flying colors.
