It sounds like if the Suns really want him, they need to find a way to move up to #3, because otherwise someone else will beat them to it. If the Celtics are holding onto the pick, don't gamble that they prefer Tatum -- pay for the upgrade you need to be sure. #4 and #32 for #3 if that's what you have to do.

WIth everyone else seemingly wanting him I'm not sure that offer will do it.

ESPN has payed a rumor Bledsoe to the Nuggets for #13, and Munday. I'm guessing this is the backup plan if Jackson is gone at 4 and we take Fox. If it goes down like that Bam at 13 would be awesome.

The only player I have seen labeled as potential superstar is Fox.

I do not want to trade with the Celtics. Let the draft come to the Suns and look at trade options.

The only player that is in the Suns range labeled as a potential superstar? I've seen all of the top 5 players labeled as that, Fultz, Ball, Jackson, Fox, and Tatum, with some mention of Isaac also. I think Jackson definitely could be a superstar though, that's why he's linked to almost every draft related trade rumor right now with names like Aldridge, Butler, DeAndre Jordan, Paul George, and Porzingis all being players rumored to be moved in an effort to get a pick to take Jackson.

Don't get me wrong. I would be thrilled if the Suns draft Jackson. Fox and Jackson are great options. Isaac would be a nice option as well.

I've prepared myself for a possible trade-down so I'm flexible.

If Boston takes Tatum at 3, we're going to kill this draft, mark my words. I could see us picking three times in the top 15.

Hey guys. Somebody explain to me how Fox is going to be a superstar without a shot and a game that is all to the left. I'd say his passing skills are average at best. Seems like a great kid, otherwise I wouldn't take him top 10 in this draft. The last thing this team needs is somebody who collapses the defense even more. Also wanted to say that I think a lot of people here really underestimate Bender. I can't believe that some people have completely written him off already. There are two sides to the basketball court and even in limited time because of Injury I thought he was one of our best defenders. Everybody loves Chriss, but his defense… I hope it improves as much as I hope Bender's offense improves this year.I love our 2016 draft. So excited to watch them in summer league and then next season… assuming we don't trade most of it away in the next two hours. :)

This will surprise you guys I'm sure as many of you remember how much of a Channing Frye fan I am. I love Markkanen.

Happy 2017 draft - Joe

I've scouted NBA prospects since 1992. (For fun of course, not professionally) The Suns have never drafted my top prospect. I repeat NEVER. They've rarely ever had a shot at him. If they get Jackson it will be the first time.

I'm excited.

If there's truth to the Denver trade and we get #13 there are 7 great prospects that COULD be there:

Dennis Smith
Zach Collins
Frank Ntilikina
Justin Patton
John Collins
Justin Jackson
Jarett Allen

Of course who they take at #4 will influence who they take at #13. But if they got Josh Jackson and Zach Collins they will be widely heralded as having the best draft by far.

No to Justin Jackson as well. I've already been down that road in the NCAA Tournament.

I'd love Zach Collins but he won't be there. Not sure as there are a lot of interchangeable guys in the teens. But I really dislike Justin jackson.

I wonder if Zach is still there #10, we send #13 and #32 to Sacramento.

Edit: plus whatever change needed to make it work.

Good to hear from you! You should post more. I am sure I am not the only one who misses your insight. I completely agree- Fox= Payton from Orlando.
