I love that Foyd, late in the 4th qtr of a blowout game, was still throwing mean blocks and just snot bubbled DRC.

I now love Floyd just for that play, and the TD catch covering up doucet's earlier drop

Have to admit, I got enjoyment out of that; chucked him over 5 yards. LOL!

That was some really sweet icing on a cake game. DRC looked like such a punk. If he hadn't retaliated it wouldn't have been shown on replay to all of America. Fool.

That play was a complete picture on why DRC was no longer a fit in Arizona. Not physically or mentally tough at all.

That is waaaaaayyyy too early to say with Floyd really hasn't done anything until today catching an 8 yard TD that should have been picked.

40.

Come on.

He took it away from the defender, just like Boldin would have and powered his way into the end zone.

It's just a feeling I have. The karma for this team has definetely changed and good things are happening. This kid is going to make everyone forget Boldin. Mark my words.

Also Floyd so far has had 3-4 meaningful blocks this season that a lot of WR's wouldn't of had the nose to do.

Many people were also basing their opinions off of Justin Blackmon. Last I checked, even he hasn't done much. So far he has 3 receptions for 24 yards. Michael Floyd has a td, and Blackmon doesn't.

It's going to take a bit of time, like most rookie WR's. But his blocking is already there and making dividends, and the 2 td's Floyd has... 1 meaningless one in preseason, and this one were great catches, alot of WR's would have dropped. Floyd didn't.

At the end of the 1H, I concluded that this was the best half of Cardinal football that I ever remember seeing in 65 years. But...

I was very worried that the 2H might turn into one of those "We knew who we thought they were..." moments.

Fortunately, it didn't happen (though we did get a bit sloppy at times in the second and third quarters). We have to learn how to keep the pedal to the metal for a full 60 - every time.

I honestly didn't feel this way at all. I think we played basically awesome D all game long, and especially in the 3rd and 4th quarters. In the 3rd Philly chewed up 10+ minutes of clock to score 6 measly points. Then, in the beginning of the 4th, they ate up another 5 minutes only to punt. We shut down their passing game and made them run, which they did, but they couldn't score off it, and they ate up all the game clock. I absolutely loved the way Horton managed the second half on D with the lead we had.

There's a difference between Clancy getting torched for huge gains in the passing game with a lead, chewing up very little clock, and what Horton did, dropping people into coverage and making them run and use clock. They didn't even score in the 4th and only managed 6 points in the 3rd, a quarter in which they had the ball almost the entire quarter. It was perfect scheming in my opinion.

Floyd knocks the snot out of DRC, legally during the play, and then DRC throws a cheap shot after the play with much less effect on Floyd and gets flagged...CLASSIC :)

I won't ever forget Boldin and the toughness he brought to this team. I wish things never went sour imo he should of been a Card for life.
