I did. And the next time I see a local complaining about the game being blacked out, I'll do it all over again.clif said:Remember you were the one that called my statement LAME.

clif said:and in that particular situation I believe the posting person was saying that the game should not be blacked out only because it was the Pat Tillman tribute game, so it should have meant more than a money.
I personally don't mind the blackout.
My only problem is that some people work on sundays so they cant go even if they wanted to.
not the only reason, but it was a reason I personally could not go to games.LVCARDFREAK said:Clif, the Phoenix Metro area is what approaching 4 million people?
All you guys work on Sunday?
come on.........
clif said:not the only reason, but it was a reason I personally could not go to games.
you act like 4 million people automatically means 4 million football fans.
prop 302... had less than 1 million people who actually voted on it.
again more people should go to the games .. no doubt , but it is not that cut and dry.
again you act like 4 million people automatically means 4 million football fans.LVCARDFREAK said:My point is there are 4million people within a 30-40 minute drive of SDS and the Cards cant get 60,000 people to a game? Any excuse, whether it be work on sundays, broke, etc still cant hold true for ALL 4 million people!
my exact feelings.clif said:I will state that I will give him the benefit of the doubt based on his past success and so far based on the intensity and competiveness that the team has shown so far. Of course moral victories are never accepted, but there has to be room to accept the positives and criticize the negative.
I do not agree with all of DG's moves, but none of them have been "mind blowers"
I see the team headed in the right direction.
clif said:again you act like 4 million people automatically means 4 million football fans.
how many cities in this country actually have professional sports franchises?
edit: also how many fans would you expect with this team winning 1 playoff game in 47 years.
and those teams started there and were not brought in from another town.LVCARDFREAK said:Not 4 million football fans but 4 million people to draw from.
How many would I expect? Well if Phx wasn't so apathetic then I would expect sell outs every home game just like other cities that have perrenial bad teams:
Chicago Cubs,
Packers were bad for a dozen years
Cinicnnati Bengals although not always sold out still drew 50,000 a game
they still draw more than 23,000 fans! Thats awful!!!
