Surprised they wouldn't just let the tag stand. Then he'd be a 30 year old FA CB. Not the best place from which to negotiate. Seems like there must be more to come on this story. The Cats owner is a curmudgeon, but he likes to win!

Glad he didn't sign with the 49ers even though he wouldn't be enough to help them short term.

Overpaid for him Redskins not even close to having the front 7 players that Panthers have, which made him better. Another Redskins bust FA IMO.
