Aside from the scuttlebutt on this board, I haven't seen any news of FA movement. I've seen articles on possible destinations for guys but that's not any different that me throwing out my opinion on where guys fit.

Maybe it picks up on or after draft night next week.

By the time the draft arrives things should happen in a hurry because teams will already have an idea of what they want to do.

You are not going to hear any concrete news now because it can't be announced but don't think agents haven't been talking.

I want to keep Oubre, but he just doesn't work as a PF against most teams.

He also doesn't really work as a 6th man, and I don't think he would be happy there either.

Unfortunately, I feel like it comes down to who would you rather keep, Mikal or Oubre. If that is the choice it has to be Mikal.

I am terrified that James Jones is going to give Oubre away for penny's on the dollar however.
I actually think he’s great as a 6th man but don’t think he’d go for it.
And I’m equally concerned James will give him away.

Yeah but usually you do have the agreement period where agreements can be announced but not finalized. There is none of that now.

Good with all three moves. Sad we didn’t trade Baynes for any value.
Without a post trade deadline Baynes do the Suns make the bubble? (This is an honest question... I’m not in position to look up record/stats post trade deadline right now).

Danilo Gallinari 4/1 odds on coming to the Suns in free agency.

Yes. Great to have Dario back. I agree with all three moves.

At what cost, and will he come off the bench, as he should? If so, and if the cost still let's us get a legitimate starting power forward, then great.

Glad Frank is gone.

Need a back-up center to replace Baynes.

Also, what is the status on Carter (hope he stays) and Okobo (hope he's gone)?

I'm thinking Dario will come off the bench as there seems to be some talk, rumor, the Suns will pursue a starting power forward. Dario coming off the bench is a real plus because he can play small ball center or power forward.

In my mind there is no question Carter should stay for a reasonable salary. I've thought for awhile Baynes, Kaminsky and Okobo are gone. The same with Diallo.

That would be fine by me, as long as we get an additional beefier back up to match up with standard opposing centers.

Dario is the backup center.

Backup Power Forward is cam.

FA is the starting PF - and I am kind of thinking it is going to be Gallo due to his relationships with Book and Paul.

I do wonder what Dario is going to cost. I have a bad feeling he may be the one taking up our exception.

Agreed I want him back - however if the FA power forward wants every penny we have I am scared they may let him go.

What kind of relationship goes Gallo have with Book? And either the Paul trade is dead, or else if Oubre is gone, the Suns need someone far more athletic than Gallo at power forward.

I'm wondering the best way to sign Saric regarding the salary cap. Would it be better to sign him quickly for a lesser yearly salary to remove the $10.4 million cap hold or wait to sign him and potentially go over the cap.

Books dad played with Gallo in Europe and they have been friends ever since.

It worries me that they are still using Okobo in their Valley campaign and the fact he is good friends with Book. He is useless.

Have heard nothing about Carter other than he wants to stay.

The Lakers are wasting no time. They want to sign Wesley Matthews away from Bucks.
