They were even bagging on him on Highly Questionable today, it was funny.

Not surprising really. I know he wanted out as soon as his brother had his "not for long tweet" - Considering how close they are, his brother wouldn't tweet that unless he was sure his brother didn't want to be here ...

Keeping Kief is not an option I think, assuming the report is true (which it probably is based off what we know from the past couple months) - It'll be interesting what the Suns do ... I expect a trade coming out of nowhere ...

Something like they trade Markieff for a 1st rounder or something, then trade that 1st rounder, along with another 1st rounder and maybe a guy like Tucker, for a really good SF/PF type guy ...

I would be shocked if they just roll w/ Leur/Telet./ (small ball Warren) ... They have 5 1st rounders the next 3 years (and whatever we get for Kieff), might as well use them to upgrade

I'm not. Markieff is not soft and pretty highly valued around the league. He is on a very good contract and is locked up for five years. He was a 6th man of the year candidate two years ago. Yes he is a head case but that didn't stop Detroit from trading for Marcus. There are lots of gm's who will believe that the problem is with Suns mgmt and they can fix him.

There is no point in having a fire sale. Start Tele if Kieff pouts.

Care to provide any supporting evidence for that claim?

As a player. Just comments from opposing color guys, coaches and fans throughout the year. I read the game threads of every team we play as well.

Time will prove me right (or wrong). Feel free to call me on it.

I would trade Keiff & Tucker to the 76rs for Noel and Landry. Or just Keiff for Noel, both have potential, but limited skill sets. With Okafor the 76rs need someone to stretch the floor and get people out of his way. But who knows

Start Warren at SF and Landry at PF. Noel could start but would screw up the spacing on the floor.

Heck if Phil wanted the could get the twins back together mid season.

Imo he's immovable until his legal issue is resolved.

I agree if the Suns want to get as much value as possible. Of course, trading Marcus Morris proved it can be done in a salary dump.

There is absolutely no way PHI would deal Noel for Morris. Noel is starting to show the promise and potential PHI gambled on taking him after his ACL injury and they see him as a building block of their future. He is looking like a better pick than Len at this point. If by some chance hell freezes over and PHI is willing, PHX needs to jump on that. I would even be wiling to send PHI a draft pick in the deal.

The Suns should have signed Carl Landry years ago. He is a solid backup PF. He has bounced around a bit but he is dirt worker and a very under appreciated player. I would think the 76ers would want to keep Nerlens Noel but who knows.

I think PHX should trade Markieff for Lebron James.

funny how someone can be given over 20 million and still complain and not want to work there.

If he wants to get traded he needs to get his legal problems resolved and stop acting like a punk.

This is encouraging.

So do you think Tucker would start over Teletovic or Leuer (as slinslin suggests) if Markieff should leave and the roster remains the same?

Tucker is a 3 who can sometimes play a 2. I think he is just too undersized at pf.

We agree of course except for the occasional time he plays some PF in a small ball lineup.

True, but on the other hand, most of the world would say the same about Americans who are unhappy in their jobs that pay "piddling" amounts like, say, $80,000 a year. Wealth is relative. $20 million sure sounds like a lot to me, but maybe if I had that much, I'd feel differently.

I suppose. Being a millionaire and doing a job you love is a bit different. Maybe he's just a douche and no one gets along with him

I think something like Ariza and Jones or Motiejunas for Tucker and Kieff is probably our best bet.

Maybe they can unload him for Taj Gibson of the Bulls. He is coming off ankle surgery and I here they want to trade him after drafting a PF. I'm sure the Bulls don't want Morris but maybe with two or three maybe 6 teams in the trade circle something could happen.
