I like our chances of finishing in 2nd place tonight. But stranger things have happened.

Over/Under on Bledsoe turnovers?? I'll put the line at 7 and take the over... :D

He's really playing uptight right now. He's having the same problem he did at the start of the season and like then, I believe he'll calm down and get it under control. He'll probably always have a high turnover rate but this recent run of 6 turnovers a game won't last much longer IMO. BTW, even with this recent stretch, he's still just averaging 3.2 turnovers per game.

His Assist/Turnover Ratio ranks at the very bottom of the league @ 1.86. He's got a long way to go still...I have my doubts. And I still hope he proves me wrong... ;)

He looks like he is pressing more right now. Probably because of the teams play he feels like he has to do more. I agree he will calm down and it won't be 6 a game.

We have a different definition of "very bottom". It's low, that's pretty obvious, but it is not at the bottom. In fact, this recent horrible stretch of ball handling has left him just barely below Goran Dragic on this list with his turnover ratio of 1.89. Westbrook is playing great by all accounts yet he's at 2.08 which just isn't that much different than 1.86. CBS Sports rating system still has Eric as the 26th highest rated player in the NBA but the only thing anyone notices on this forum seems to be his turnovers.

Well... there are only 6 other PG's with a lower Assist/Turnover ratio... One of whom is Brandon Knight - so Eric has team bragging rights... Yippee! :D

I don't trust him being the main ball carrier. I feel way more comfortable with Brandon Knight being the point than Bledsoe at this point.

I agree that Bledsoe really has to get under control with the ball and cut down on the TO's.

We also have to consider the good with the bad with him, for example his impact on the defensive end. I haven't looked at the averages, but it seems like it is pretty common for him to get a couple steals and a blocked during a game, which you don't get with most other guards. If you net that against his TO's, its not as bad, but he still needs to calm down with the ball, big time.

I think Bledsoe feels compelled to create offense by forcing the ball inside whether by pass or penetration even when there is not an option to do so. Sometimes I wonder if he is were told he didn't have to force the issue, he would have better results. Perhaps that will come with time.

Or it could be that he is handling the ball more since Dragic left....
Yesterday was really frustrating. I swear he turned the ball over back to back in the 4th trying to make the same move where he tries to drive, pulls back then loses the ball.

Yes, but he hasn't played. I think he was just thrown into the trade as fodder. As far as I know, he is not in the Suns' plans and is currently in discussions to have the Suns buy out his contract so that he can catch on elsewhere.

Knight is a lot better than I expected him to be. I knew he put up good numbers for the Bucks but I didn't see him play much at all before coming here.

He has a quick release from 3 that our team has sorely lacked.

Bledsoe with an ill advised pass. Lucky it isn't tallied as a turnover on him

When Bledsoe is in a zone on defense he seems like he is everywhere. He has smothered like 4 plays already.
