no,you should thank the NFL front office, who gives you extension for them(like last years playoff games with the 24hr extension needed for both the Cards and Vikings).

If there was anything to spend money on in green bay besides football worship and cheese curds, you guys would have trouble selling out too.

LOL,you guys kill me,talk about trying to add words here. My logic? I'm pretty sure I added Viking and Cards there to show that I knew it was for wildcard weekend. I thought most people with common sense would of caught that.

I'm pretty sure you are trolling here. I'm pretty sure you are grossly mistaken about the #'s of Slacker Fans in our house come Sunday. And I am very sure that you are grossly underestimating the noise that will be unleashed on the Cheeseheads come Sunday. As was mentioned early, Mike Smith was caught on tape during the Falcons game last year complaining about the noise and saying that he "couldn't hear himself think". Rogers, who has yet to play in a post-season game will experience the full pressure, noise and stress that comes with the need to perform under these conditions... Hmmmm..... :p

Ah yes, the old days at SDS were alot of fun.

BTP, this is a touchy subject for us. Your team has a 25 year waiting list for season tickets, so I dont know if you can relate. I've never been to a game in Green Bay, but I would guess that one does not see large groups of the opposing team's fans at Lambeau.

There has alway been 20-30,000 loyal Card fans, now we are just working on filling the rest of the stadium with Big Red fans.

Interesting on the AZCentral page it says the limited tickets that are left include tickets from Green Bay's allotment that were sent back. They couldn't even cover the tickets that were set aside for them apparently. Whatever. Looks like we'll have to carry their dead weight.

Good that means the "30 Thousand" coming from the frozen tundra get ripped off by scalpers.

You want to know why it's sold out? You guys are not going to be happy to hear this. There estimating 25-30k worth of Packer fans Sunday. :D

They have been talking about this the last few days on the local sports radio and our local news of how much of a heavy supply and demand for both tickets to the game/and of flights headed out of Milwaukee,Madison and Green Bay ,and Chicago area's to Phoenix in the last 72 hours:)

They even have a peep rally scheduled down there for Saturday Night.

30 k?!! LOL! Threre will be ten to fifteen max!

Not according to one of the trolls.

The truth is that only Arizona residence could by tickets on Monday. They had about 2000 tickets left after Wed. Unless half of sold our tickets to GB there is no way they have 25-30. Besides the fact that we will win this game as we have'nt lost two in a row this year. I can't wait for the opening bell. Lets be heard this Sunday. No one should go home with a voice. Gb will go home with the sound of Otis Redding sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the second round on TV .

trust me when I say this, there were plenty of ticket else where to be had. There were plenty outlets to buy up tickets before that. In fact that one the things they were talking about on the radio/local tv and how to get tickets.

p.s. and aj,if I was trolling, you would really know it,again trust me I'm not trolling. If you want to see a troll thrown down pretty thick I can. I already see some of these guys are very thin skinned targets.

I'm not going to get into the numbers game here. Packers fans travel well.
Better than any team in the NFC for sure and maybe the only team that can rival the Steelers for best in the league. I'll leave it at that.

As far as this post... I'm confused. Would that be a good thing?

Thats not true. It happens everywhere in the NFL including GB. I was watching a game in GB against the steelers sometime in just the last few years cant recall exactly when but it wasnt long after we had this debate before on here andt i stuck out because there were THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of terrible towels going in those stands at Lambeau.

Uh those towels were either Green Bay Packer towels(G-force towels)or your just not remembering right because the Steelers haven't played in Lambeau since 2005,and IIRC before that it was '95(I think).

True. It was a preseason game against the Steelers if it's the one I'm thinking of. There is little loyalty in sports among anyone anymore. Everyone is out for a quick buck. Players, coaches, owners, and fans. What's ironic is I rarely seen that at Lambeau when the Packers sucked in the 80s. But with the coming of the Internet and Stubhub, some Packer season ticket holders treat those tickets like stocks. They can sell a few of their season tickets for profit and goto the rest of the games for basically free.

No it was the Steelers at Lambeau and they were terrible towels. It may have even been pre season I cant recall exactly. It wasnt reall recent I know that. We have been posting here a long time and had these debates many times over for awhile. :)

Good post Houdini,I think a big part of that is PSL for any team fans. You also have to remember @ Lambeau we now have over 110,000(give or take 20k) season ticket holders because of the whole '94 transit of not playing anymore games in Milwaukee.

uh ok

This was the game: http://www.packers.com/gameday/2005/11-06/

That crowd had a HUGE amount of Pitt fans. The camera screening the crowd and the total eruption from the crowd when Pitt was doing well scoring etc.. was clearly evident. Anyways it happens everywhere including places like Lambeau. Not just AZ.

He's right because I too remember being amazed at how many terrible towels there were at a Packer game when they panned the crowd on tv. I was wrong thinking it was a preseason game though.
