Even with his recent "short" kickoffs isn't he among the league leaders in touchbacks?

With so many other areas of need on this team I just don't think kicker is real high up there.

Back to the game...why can the Cardinals not trust Arrington to run the ball???? He is getting better every week and it would be nice to see what he would do with 20 carries in a game.

Thats because he had so many TBs in the first 5 games. This is what have you done for me lately league.

I understand your concern about his KO's. I am concerned about 'em too. However you need a reliable PK and Rackers is that. He is one of the better in the league. I agree with extending him.

I can understand why you feel that way but I feel that kickers are easily replaceable. Nedney is still in the league for instance, hurt recently though I think, and you don't put a large amount of money into one. Our kicker in '98 was really clutch and I don't even think he stayed in the league for very long afterward.

Rackers extension was strictly a PR move just like Centers. As well as to use up cap space and try to silence some of the criticism of the front office for not doing everything they could to improve the team.

I don't know if the coach can change it but Boldin to his credit is tryign to. THe penalty was dumb but he's doing everything he can to get some life into his teammates.

He has 22 which is 8 more than the next closest kicker(just looked it up) but the Cardinal KO coverage team gives up 30+ yds per return this year, while he is to blame for some of that it ain't all him.

Rackers is on pace to have THE best season ever by a kicker and is already having a top 5 all-time season. Yup, it was strictly a PR move, because he obviously sucks......
