I get it, but the draft is a crap shoot. Not hard to understand, ask The Leinart.

Yeah I get that, but at least you've got a better shot to get the player you want. For instance if we really wanted mahomes last year a higher pick would have helped, no? We know what we have here . . . hot garbage. I'd at least be excited for more potential with a higher draft pick. I think you oversell how much of a crapshoot the draft is. If you look round by round more successful picks come from higher picks (and I'm not talking about the BS argument of comparing first round QBs to all the rest of the draft combined, that's a silly argument).
