I have a perverse respect for this. Its totally childish, but....

Everyones adrenaline is going during the game, tempers flare, people say things they dont really mean like; I'm done forever! This team is the worst! I hate (insert player/coach). Doesn't mean they aren't fans, it's just kindof a running internal dialogue. That's sports. You hate a guy one minute you love him the next. At the end of the day we all just want this team to be the best it can be. That's why were all here for eachother, to vent and talk eachother down.

On the Fitz touchdown I was literally like: (outloud) OMG Why would you throw it here Arians you.... you brilliant man! TOUCHDOWN! Great call! Yay! lol

Hate to love in 2.5 seconds.

Going through afterwards and talking smack is just weak.

I know, you would think that Card fans would know that the game is 4 qtrs. And "their" team is now 6-2 with one of the top QB's in the NFL.

I don't think you're familiar with the concept of a gameday thread. It's always irrational, emotionally driven responses done in the moment. Going through a gameday thread and doing this is...sad actually.

I watch both boards but post on azCardinals.com.

I think its ironic that the fans can scream about how POOR the team is when things are down...while they act like POOR fans.

why people don't understand the above is a head scratcher to me. this board on gameday is basically everyone's inner monologue on display.

what I wonder is if people even care he's talking smack. I was pissed during the first half, but I'm stoked now with the win and don't feel silly or stupid now that the game's over.

This is a good post, but all I can think of is my wife going off in the first half, then Palmer takes a shot while passing it to Fitz, who then stiff arms his man, and my sweet, innocent wife starts yelling, "Yeah, throat him Fitz, don't let him hit your quarterback, throat his ass!"
