I just watched a pregame show, not local, national so they weren't Cardinal homers.

They said this about the game:

So now we have the most vanilla team in the NFL (the Browns) going up against the most exciting team in the NFL the Arizona Cardinals.

LOL I just started laughing. Whether you agree with him or not, it's just funny to me as a Cardinal fan when non local sports guys say stuff like that. Young Cardinal fans just dont understand. They never, ever, ever used to talk about the Cardinals on sportcenter. It was like we didn't exist. When we played the Cowboys or someone like that they would show our games, but just to talk about the other team. If we were playing the Chargers or the Lions you could forget seeing them on SS.

I told my nephew this once and he didn't believe me but back in the day Sportscenter would kindof rush through the NFL, so they didn't actually show replays from every game. They would show the "good" games at length and then for some games they would just put up the score on screen and kinda quickly tell you what happened and then move on. So after years and years of feeling like the unloved stepchild of the NFL it always catches me by surprise when someone heaps praise on us like that. :) I'm like; awe shucks stop it some more...

What I want to see more than anything other than a win, duh, is a few long, sustained drives. I dont care about 60 yard touchdowns if we get one, great, but I would rather see this offense control the clock. Dominate time of possesion. Mix it up, drive down the field. I mean I know everyone wants their offense to do that, but I really feel like these guys CAN do it, if they just stop taking so many shots downfield. Just work the ball all over the place like we have at times.

It's like BA goes to it, it works and we start moving the ball and he thinks: Great we're warmed up now, lets go deep again!!! lol He regresses at the first sign of offensive momentum, but I've got a feeling tomorrow is the day we see this offense clicking on all cylinders.

Cards 38
Browns 24 (I think we will be happy with the offense and spend all next week discussing our defensive struggles, unfortunately)

Anyway, just a guess. Go Cards!

I want to see a 200+ yrd total run game. CJ getting over 100 yards rush, AE getting 60 yards rush & Pass TD, and DJ getting 40 yards rushing & Running TD. I want to see more run plays then pass against the Browns.

My wife is awesome. After trick o treating we let the kids sleep about 5 hours then piled into the minivan and drove all night. 62 degrees, sunny and calm. A great day for a great game!

Go Cards!

We're on the 35 yard line behind the Cards bench, row 1.

Good morning everyone. As always my internal clock is co fused with the time change. Most of AZ has it right by not changing time.

Another week of the Cardinals just have not really played teams that are impressive. That is getting old.

That is a good trip at 0200. Do you go right back home after the game?

Here is another game where the Oline is key to the game. Like someone said earlier, being able to run the ball consistently along with long sustained drives will keys to winning the game today.

Get the run game going early and stick with it.

Defense needs to get some pressure to force bad throws and decisions.

John Brown & Jerraud Powers are active today. Surprised about Powers.... we'll see if or how much he can play.

Here's the Inactive list:
— QB Matt Barkley
— LB Shaq Riddick
— LB Alex Okafor (calf)
— T D.J. Humphries
— T Earl Watford
— TE Darren Fells (shoulder)
— NT Xavier Williams

Want the win obviously, but like Bert said I too want to manage the game and be in control the entire way. Limit the stupid penalties and put quality drives together. Hopefully, J Brown is ok and the cards get off to an early lead so they can rest him. Powers as well

No Watford? I guess that leaves Sowell in case of injury
