The bye came at the perfect time. We need some guys to get healthy.
We are still legitimately in this thing with the potential for the playoffs, if the leadership can
accurately diagnose the malaise affecting the team. We have the talent, and there are no
dominant teams in the NFC this year. Strange but true.

I bet we actually end up competing with the Panthers for the last wildcard spot at the end.

I don'd understand the wish/hope for the playoffs.... Does anyone honestly think, based on what we have seen so far this year - that if we managed to limp into the playoffs, we would actually have a chance of advancing?

Based on the way the entire NFC has looked this year, hell yes we would have a chance! This year screams for a team who gets hot down the stretch coming out of the NFC.
