If Gabbert didn’t fumble at the beginning of the game we win.

If Gabbert didn’t throw a terrible pick we win.

If Gabbert had any sense of touch or aim we win.
If Niklas holds onto the ball in the endzone, we win.

If Fitz holds onto the ball on the last play, we win.

See, you're not the only one who can play the 'if' game.

Just to point out, the Eagles are on their backup(who threw 4 TD's today), they don't have a top RB, and don't have a top WR and they won today. The difference is coaching. The Eagles are well coached. This team isn't.

And? Gabbert suuuuuuuuccccckkkkks out loud. I know you don’t want to hear it. The team is decimated but this dude is NOT A STARTING QB IN THE NFL.

It’s ok. I know you want one so bad. But he needs to be put out to pasture.

Let me say this again. This is year 7!

Not buying it. Not this game at least.

Who says I don't want to hear it? You don't want to hear that the reality is that we had a chance to win this game but our receivers could't catch a pass in their hands, one in the endzone. Please dispute this.

This team was a game away from .500 meaning we had 6 wins going into today but it only seems like the "we're missing players" excuse only comes out after a loss.
Not for me, based on the team we fielded I thought we were fortunate to win any games, mostly ugly ones.

Because when people tell you and a few others about how bad this guy blows you want to tell me about the Oline and the poopy receivers. We know they suck.

We know this team is a shell, but the guy in the QB slot ain’t helping. Hell he is making it worse.

With a quality NFL QB the Cards win today's game going away & Gabberts ineptitude doesn't even come into play.

I'm just saddened that Cards fans are still defending his play & placing it on others. You do realize the really good ones elevate teammates play right? Take off the rose colored glasses & look at it from the GMs perspective.

Gabbert can't lead this team to the promised land...it's time to move on!

Be that as it may, Gabbert did put this team in position to win and our receivers couldn't catch the ball including one that should have been a TD. Can't put all the blame on Gabbert. The entire game screwed the pooch.

Again I have not read one post where anyone is saying it’s all his fault. The point is that he was to show us something. Some reason to believe he was a candidate for starting QB. He has shown that is is frighteningly inaccurate and inconsistent. We know the team is a wreck but show something worth getting excited about. Nope he is turriblle.

They'll beat the Giants next week and finish 7-9. They could pick as high as 17 even with a loss to Seattle.
Nah, I don’t think that’s possible. Pretty sure 11 is the highest possible if that happens.

Well we’re on our third. The eagles have jay Ajayi and legarrette Blount, not Kerwynn Williams and Elijah penny, and they paid top dollar to bring in lashing Jeffry, but sure. Go watch some more eagles games while they’re still winning lol. Our coaches did a great job getting us prepared for an east coast game at noon and after an opening drive fumble

Geez.

No he put his team in position to lose with missed throws repeatedly & turnovers that cost them points before the last drive.

But ok I'll play your game.
1) What about hitting Skelator on the bomb on his outside shoulder that led him OOB instead of in stride for a TD?

2) How bout throwing the INT inside the Skins 15 yard instead of leading a TD drive?

3)How about missing a wide open Foster on a RB flat pass for a walk in TD instead of an incomplete pass that leads to a FG?

Gabbert just isn't talented enough to be a very good NFL QB that can lead a team to a SB IMO. His faults far outweigh his positives.

Gabbert showed that he is a Back-up QB. He will never amount to more. And yes our Coaching isn't good, our O-line is terrible, our WR are dropping balls left and right and our D isn't adopting fast or playing great. And the ST is one of the worst units year in and year out under this coach/regime.

So yes, we lost because of many things, but overall, now the season is over and in the last 2 games we should look at young players and asetts that we have or don't.

Maybe we have some luck and get the chance to draft the QBoF this offseason, but we will see.

doesn't matter guy. In the end we were in the red zone with plenty of time and our receivers dropped 3 key passes. I don't care if he was 0-20 with zero yards and 5 picks at that point because it was a 5 point game with plenty of time and 3 key passes, 2 for 1st down and 1 for a TD or down at the 1 for sure, were dropped. Why you're arguing this fact I don't understand. Is Gabbert a sure fire QB? No but in this instance, he had us in a position to win but no one could catch a ball. This is an indisputable fact.

I'm totally with you, I think BG sucks. Let's be clear though, do you think our wide receivers/tight end/running backs would've caught the ball had it been thrown correctly? We need to revamp this whole offense.
