So were we exposed and it was confirmed that we merely succeeded against bad teams up until now? Or did we just have a bad game?

The rams D made a bunch of plays in the red zone. The cards D gave up a few plays at key points. The rams played better situation football today.

You make mistakes, you lose. That simple. Fumbles, ints.

So. Take that bitterness and learn. Examine the film and come out better. Carson Palmer is still upright. That is something.

Iupati looked rusty, which is reasonable.

Dline and LBers got exposed this game. None of our LBers would start on any other team in the NFL except Daryl Washington.

The Rams did nothing to make D Johnson drop a TD pass. Also Gresham drop on third down was a killer. We hadn't been doing these things.

It's pretty frustrating to get jobbed as bad as we did by the refs in a home game, I mean what freakin home field advantage do we have if we can't get a freaking call?? Clear fumble oh let's rule it forward progress?? Unreal no calls sorry and not sure how many late hits out of bounds today but 0 flags unreal!

They got a couple of turnovers. Points off of turnovers was a factor.

Both. These Cards are a good football team, but I think almost everyone underestimated the Rams. Never underestimate a team with a defensive front like that and that has play-makers on offense regardless what they had looked like in the previous game.

Cardinals threw this game away. 450 yards of offense but only 22 points. Three turnovers and only 1 of 5 tds in the red zone. I thought the cardinals were past blowing games in this fashion especially at home but I guess not.

I don't think the Rams were underestimated. Everyone should have known it would be a tough physical game. If the Cardinals don't turn the ball over the Rams don't have enough offense to win and I think that is exactly what we saw.

17 points on those turn overs. They only score one TD on a normal drive.

Only positive is that we sucked all night and were a few years away from probably winning it.

It was an out of character display, so it's all about how we react now. Feel sick at the loss, but we have to hope this makes us a better team.

Didn't the turns over amount to all of their points basically?

1st turnover by Johnson - TD
2nd turnover by Palmer - FG
3rd turnover by Fitz - FG

So 17 points of turnovers...

New math?

That's 13 points.

The D Johnson fumble on the kickoff and then dropping a TD pass was on him. I give the Rams alot of credit but we screwed up plain and simple.

sorry man... but we can't en masse mock Fisher for saying "if this and that had gone their way, they'd be 3-0", while then doing the exact same thing for our team.

The cards were out classes today despite self destructive plays...we can gripe about refs, but if Cards put the ball into the end zone we win all day.

Already said that in another thread. Seems others are starting to say the same thing, if they didn't do this or didn't do that. Sounds like Fisher words to me. :D

If Fischer said his team lost games because of mistakes then yes I am doing the same thing. Could give a damn about the Rams. I believe the Cardinals are a much better team than they showed today and we still almost won.

who cares that they "still almost won"... at home... against a team you believe is much worse then us? All that says to me is that it's a bad loss... which it is.
